Passing through from Austin to Lubbock and saw this coffee shop in Unilocal.There was a good overall rating so we didn’t bother to read the comments. The lower rating here is for hospitality of the man working at the counter who appears to dislike people which seems strange when your job is customer driven. Ordered 3 lattes and 4 muffins/monkey bread. Lattes were ok, and the muffins/monkey bread was pretty good. If you don’t mind being treated like crap, then this place is for you.

Super cute place! The guy running the show was a bit of a character but he made a lovely iced tea and frappucino type drink for my husband. This is a spacious place with a variety of seating options, board games, a fire place. It could use a bit of a wipe down overall, but it had a nice vibe and wish there were more coffee shops like Perks!
The also seem to sell quilts, wedding cakes and beautiful, edible sugar flowers and what not.
