My husband loves to talk fishing everything when he’s at Willies store, there’s always lots of fisherman coming and going and the owner is full of great information for upcoming fishermen (scholarships, excursions, etc).

I forgot to private message you guys. I did receive OG XXX Blood. I tried it out a week ago down in the surf at the beach in Santa Monica, Ca. I dipped a shrimp in some of XXX and got taken for a ride down the beach by a huge bat ray. I was able to reel him in but was way to far from my cell to snap a picture. Next time, I will be ready for the quick bite. I did also pick up a couple of perch and a shovel nose shark.

Drove 60 miles to Amaysing because of referral from another fisherman. The trip was well worth it.
Big Willie and his daughter were great to deal with. Willie took plenty of time to provide me with lots of great tips and showed me how to use everything the I bought. He recommended some great products. Unlike at least one store I don’t plan to patronize again, Big Willie did not try to oversee me on things that I didn’t need.
The store is smaller than many others, but I rate it as one of the best because of the expertise, Big Willie’s willingness to teach, and that they had almost everything I needed.
Look forward to my trip and a great result. As Big Willie said, all he really wants is for me to have fun, catch a lot of fish, and send some photos.
Look forward to many trips back. They also do mail order.

Perfect place to get all your fishing gear and advice! I recently visited Big Willie’s store and left with not only great lures and some XXXBlood fish attractant, but made some friends too.
For the customer: support your local tackle shop. Ask about what’s biting and on what.
For the business: don’t change a thing!

It’s not great because it’s the only bait shop in town, it’s great because it’s a great bait shop period. This place is great! Big willy always has the hot tip on where the action is all over so cal. He always takes his time to explain how to use a certain new piece of equipment or a technique you might not know. Always a friendly atmosphere. So much good stuff, it’s hard to come out of there with out buying something! Try out their signature bait XXXblood. It’s good stuff!
