Commemorative Air Force Dallas / Fort Worth Wing

This combination of part tour, part museum, part restoration, and most excitingly part rides is a hidden gem in Lancaster Texas! You will walk into this large hanger and find a ball-​torrent, an MP bicycle, planes in all states of restoration, and then the planes you can actually fly in!!! Come see the quaint museum, which I can practically guarantee you will receive a personally guided tour. I find this type of hands on experience much like a teleport through history. The day I was at the museum two vintage aircraft took flight and to my delight buzzed through the air much to the excitement of the patrons in the planes, and those of us watching on the ground.
