I live near by this Dollar Tree store and I often walk there with my daughter. One visit I bought one apple tarts and I was charged two apple tarts. I went back and let the manager know. I guess they didn’t believed me because he had to look at the cameras to see how many I actually had. I thought that was kind of rude. I understand that they get a few bad quality customers in the store and I’m not one of them! The manager finally came to me and said to go ahead and get the other apple tart from the back refrigerator. From then on I always look at my receipt and check closely at the cashier to make sure I’m not being charged double. Other than that It’s a good store to shop and not too over crowded.

The manager is extremely rude and she didn’t want to scan my products, because my coupon didn’t match up. Okay, if my coupons didn’t match I understand and I’ll make sure to double check next time, but don’t embarrass me in front of everyone. I was forced to buy things I didn’t want, because she didn’t want to rescan my items, to cancel the others when I only had 10 things. Right after I went into my car and started crying, because I have never been treated so badly in my life!

I typically go to Dollar Tree for holiday specific items. For example, I purchased quite a few of their battery operated christmas lights this past year. Another thing Dollar Tree is good for is the multitude of items that can be used in various DIY projects. This particular location is much smaller than what I am accustomed to. Being that it is smaller, your options become limited. Which is why I feel this location is only okay. The Dollar Tree on East Avenue J is much larger, though it is a bit rundown. I guess that’s the unfortunate trade-off.
