This is a great hidden gem with a huge selection of bulk, specialty, and decorative candies. I was left to search and explore with out being hassled, which was great. When I did have a question, the store manager was a tremendous help. I will definitely be back for my future candy purchases.

This place should be a hit. If you decorate cakes, like candy, bake, are diabetic, cook, etc this is the place for you. You can find sprinkles and corse sugar in every color, any nut available on the planet, candy from vintage to current, from strange to hard to find, diabetic and regular candy by the pound, chocolates, supplies for baking, soup bases and homemade dried noodles, spices from around the world, etc — you get it. They have just about everything. But I always wondered how they managed to stay in business. Usually beside the owner and another employee I’m the only shopper in there. The place is expansive but dated, clean but cold and impersonal. I asked the owner if she had an online presence and her response was that she said she didn’t need one. They do little to no advertising. It’s a shame they aren’t online or get their name out there more. The parking lot is large and can accommodate a lot of people, sadly folks just don’t know about them. I personally like the owner and always found her to be very helpful but I could see how her personality could be off-putting to some. This business is her life and maybe she needs to lighten up a bit and be a bit more engaging to newbies walking thru her doors. I also have never went there and came out empty handed. I’ve always found everything I was looking for and then some. I could see this being a huge hit — especially in Lancaster Co with such a huge Mennonite & Amish presence where baking is a way a life, but only if they are willing to get with the changing times.

This is a weird place. It’s a store that should, by every known metric, give Disneyland a run for«Happiest Place on Earth». It’s an enormous candy store. Come on. There’s no downside here, right? Well, when I visited it was empty, quiet and creepy. One woman working greeted me and was friendly but it was just odd and off-putting to be the only one in a business. And this place is big but it’s set back from the road and the signage is almost camouflaged. Basically, this is a your grocery stores bulk aisle on steroids. Tons of different things to choose from for a reasonable price. Nuts, hard candy, chewy stuff. Some of it is in bulk bins and you can mix and match a bag however you like. Some of of the candy is prepackage into small, sealed bags to preserve it. There is a sizable center section dedicated to Asher chocolates. I have no idea who they are but the stuff looks nice. One of the candies that I grabbed from the bulk bin looks as though it had been opened and possibly chewed. I didn’t discover it until I got home which put a damper on the fun. Overall, this should be a wonderful place. Overall, it’s quiet and not much fun. The candy ranges from stuff you know to lots of generic things. The gummi stuff I bought was average or below and all came from companies I wasn’t familiar with. They do have cool colored sugar though. I’m not sure I’ll go back. There really wasn’t anything there that was amazing. It’s way outside of town and like I said, a weird shopping experience. If you’re feeling adventurous it might be worth a try.

I have been going here for the past 15 years & the chocolate is always the best! They have a great selection of unique candy as well. The owner is really friendly. They also have great truffle trays & chocolate to make candy out of.

While my wife and I were browsing and ultimately bought some stale dry goods from this store, we were surveilled so aggressively by the hostile proprietress as to give the impression that she thought we intended to shoplift or worse. We are well-groomed Caucasian native born Americans; I shudder to think how she treats people of color. It amuses me to know that the value of my wristwatch exceeds that of her automobile.
