As I closed the screen door, at my house, the doorknob came off in my hand. After much research and jiggling it was so not going back together but a screwdriver removed the retired piece quite easily. OK, where do you go for a doorknob that might be 20 years old? Dad always went to Hector’s and perhaps this well loved knob came from there. Recycled my paper phone books some time ago. Looked online for a phone number for hours and a stock check not expecting to find it easily. A very easy to use web page came up with no fuss or distraction. Someone answered the phone immediately and pleasant. He checked stock and I zoomed over. A nice man named Franklin took care of me and I was on my way. It took me longer to figure out how to put all together and replace the knob and latch than to get the part and get home. My bad not theirs. Not big on décor but a mysterious manly store full of the basics and lots of them. They make keys, repair screens and work on snow blowers too! Would also be a good place for manly stocking stuffers!
