We came here because it was close to the hotel we were staying. First impression is the place is cute and trendy. The menu looked good. Lots of interesting choices. I had the ½ tuna sandwich and tomato soup. Both were very good but for the price, the portion was skimpy. My son had a kids meal which he seemed to enjoy. Overall I’d rather spend my money at Paneras where the price matches the quality.

Great sandwich choices just slow service. Full bar and some beer choices too. Bring you nice pickles as you read the menu– very nice.

Great place for a quick, no frills dinner after wandering around Lancaster City. We decided we weren’t in the mood for the super expensive frou-frou restaurants, and this fit the bill perfectly. My friend and I each got a salad and sandwich combo. The salad was fresh with a nice array of veggies, and the sandwich(mine was the mini Mallard) yummy and just the right amount. And dude, each meal was less than $ 10!

I didn’t eat here, but I was very happy with the service. Just chilled on the porch and drank some 3 $ craft brews during their happy hour.

I was at this restaurant on April 12th for a late Sunday lunch At this location they have outdoor seating which gives you a real unique view of busy downtown and allows you to avoid being cramped inside a restaurant on a nice day. When you get there you have to go inside and someone will usually follow you out to seat you or you’ll sit and they’ll come to you depending on the day. When we got there it was pretty busy because of an event at the convention center it took a little bit to have initial wait staff interaction. The gentlemen that served us that day deserves a lot of credit, he’s normally the bartender but jumped in to help. He was engaging, offered local IPA’s and Ciders and offered suggestions on ones he’d recommend that fit our brief descriptions. He was quick and listened to our sandwich requests. This location no matter if I’ve been there a month ago or if I haven’t been there in a year always delivers exceptional sandwiches if you’re looking for something light and not terribly expensive with nice staff I’d say check it out for me it’s more of a lunch place rather than a dinner place but on a hot summer night it probably wouldn’t be bad to get a cold wrap and a beer!

Came here for dinner on Friday, 4÷3÷15. A very short walk from our hotel and was advertised in some magazines as a really good place to check out. Mainly sandwiches and appetizers on the menu though you could get other things as well. Great selection of drink specials and a rotating craft brewery selection of draft beers. Very good place for kids and families. I had the roast beef sandwich with kettle chips and ordered some cheesecake and a cup of coffee for dessert. Priced very reasonably. Place takes cash and credit. They do a great deal of carry-out as well and can even get beer to go.

I feel like the sizes of the sandwiches never get bugger but the prices keep going up. The tomato pepperjack is some of the best soup ev

I can only rate this place on the food since a friend delivered my sandwich through take out. The Black Eyed Susan sandwich was great. Loved the flavor combinations.

I first went to Isaac’s in the late 80’s while attending college in Lancaster. It remains a MUST anytime I am in the central PA area and I have yet to be disappointed in over 20 years. The service remains friendly and efficient. Quick to get your drink order, attentive and the help actually pays attention to what you order. I ordered the Hummingbird on French bread instead of Rye with muenster instead of Swiss — don’t forget the extra Ikey’s sauce on the side! The sandwich came and was fantastic! As good as I remembered, and that’s saying a lot. Whether in downtown Lancaster or near any of their now many locations in Central PA, Isaac’s is sure to please!
