Best Mexican in Lancaster
Food is always fresh and tastes amazing.
Magnificent margaritas.
My niece loved the huge frosty mugs that our drinks came in. She was giddy like a child on Christmas. I had to remind her that she was 13 and needed to grow up.
Rice and beans were a hit.
Hate that they charge extra for chips and salsa.
Also concerned by the small child who was a cashier.

Food is fairly decent, service on the restaurant side is awesome ! Service on the bar side sucks.
Every time I am seated on the bar side we feel as if we are ignored.
The seafood burrito is awesome, salsa is good … Chips could use to be cut a time or two more.

The food was pretty disgusting to be honest.
It wasn’t hot nor did it had any seasoning to it.
It wasn’t really appetizing, just the way they presented the food.
I’d say to stay far away from this place. urgh

I actually love this place, so it’s probably kind of weird that I’m giving it 2 stars.
Let me explain.
This location was amazing when it first opened. Loved it. The original La Cascada opened right down the street from my house in Logan, Ohio when I was still in middle school I think, so I’ve been rolling with them for a long time.
The quality varies. This is a place that you are sometimes happy that you took friends and family from out of town and sometimes you aren’t. The chips are sometimes stale and sometimes they aren’t. Sometimes the salsa sucks and sometimes you want to buy it by the gallon. You get the picture.
If the consistency was there, this place would have a higher rating. I am nostalgic and admittedly a creature of habit and that’s why I love it, but I don’t expect anyone else to have the patience that I have in waiting for them to get their menu and dining experience together.
Also, every time I meet my sister here for lunch, no matter what day it is, it is mostly empty. I don’t get out much around dinner time because I work 2^nd shift, so I don’t know what it’s like then.
Visit, but if you don’t like it, you might not want to take the chance of returning. But then again you might.

As a typical rule of thumb, I use 3-​strikes. In all experiences here for lunch and dinner, we were treated rudely and the food was not good. We are polite and patient diners. Food and drinks were slammed on the table without a word. Upon entering, the hostess looked down, and walked away, as a mild-​mannered smiling family of 3 stood there to be seated. Then someone else who was clearly agitated came to seat us. They appear to have a lot of internal turmoil here, and the customers receive less than adequate service. No, we will not be returning.

Being a Texan who loves Tex-​Mex and Mexican-​American food and culture, this was a great find in Ohio. A lot of dishes reminded me restaurants back home. The queso and guac were great, excellent pico de gallo as well. I had the quesadilla fajitas and my wife had the vegetarian enchilada. Both were excellent. No complaints from any of our four kids either – aside from not being able to finish their plates! Definitely will keep this on the «coming back» list when craving Mexican food.

We love this place! Great food brought to the table quickly. Yummy chips and salsa and friendly staff.

Owners are there to greet you! Food is awesome and they make the best especials!!! We left with a group of happy customers! Definitely need to come here!

Not impressed. New to area and decided to try a local place, love to give local businesses our business. Lukewarm reception from staff, didn’t have a specific waiter or waitress. Hostess took our drink and food order, never checked back with us to see how we were doing or if the food was ok. My beans came to the table cool, not hot and the food seasoning was bland. First bite of my food had a big fatty chunk of meat in it. Not likely that I’ll return to this place.

Food was gross. Server barely spoke English to the point of getting the order wrong. Definitely look elsewhere. We weren’t expecting much and they underdelivered

This place is our mainstay and we always have amazing service and great food! LOVE IT!!!

All these pseudo-​Mexican restaurants are generally the same… all offer the same fare, generally at the same (good) price, but this one is the exception. Its prices are high on both food and drink. Additionally, I always order hot salsa with the complementary nachos, which I have never been charged for… until now. $.75 was added to the bill for that small bowl of hot salsa, come one, really? My ice-​tea was also $ 1.99. I had a combo meal which was okay, but my crunchy taco shell was burnt. I find myself in Lancaster a few times a year now, but if I get the need for Mexican again, Ill be going somewhere else.

I have wasted my money here 2 times. The first time was for appetizers and drinks. The cheese dip was ok, a little grainy, and the beer was fine. The margaritas were terrible. Way to sweet and little to no tequila flavor. Went back again because our preferred Mexican place was too crowded and this place was relatively empty (no wonder). The ONLY seasoning used by this restaurant is salt. The beans and quesadilla were inedible (way to salty). The rice was so over cooked it was mush and had no flavor what so ever. The wife ordered a chile relleno that was disgusting. The chile was coated in thick breading and covered in this odd orange colored sweet sauce. We enjoy texmex food very much and try the local place wherever we go. THIS IS THE WORST MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN! Save some cash and go to Taco Bell.

Horrible service! Waited 20 minutes and no one to take our order, asked another waitress and hostess, and still nothing. We left and will never go back.

Good Mexican food and great service. I personally love their beans they’re amazingly good. Can’t beat the margaritas either Standing happy hour special is first 32 oz. margarita at regular price second is half price. I’ve never made it to the second one yet.
