Service was terrible and the place wasn’t busy. Food was good but we waiting for everything way too long. Had a Long Island ice tea and it was terrible. Atmosphere is cute.

This place is amazing. From the atmosphere to the service, I have only had great experiences here. The front is a casual take-out/dine in pizzeria, then once you walk to the back it feels like you’ve stepped into an upscale Manhattan Italian restaurant. The furniture is super classy, I personally love exposed brick, and there is good background music. The staff as well as the owner were very friendly. This is a new restaurant that is unlike any restaurant in Lancaster. I would recommend to anyone who likes Italian food and a great atmosphere. Perfect date night or a night out with your family.

Loved the atmosphere of this place. We ordered dinners and enjoyed them. I had the ziti and husband had the scampi. Service was okay, seemed like too few staff for number of diners. Great addition to the many great restaurants in downtown Lancaster. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other menu items.

I ordered two slices of pizza, one plain cheese and one white to go. When i got back I had two cheese slices and no white pizza. Based on the other reviews, they tend to screw up orders. The food is good but I didn’t get what I paid for.

What a neat place! What appears to be a small pizza-and-soda sort of place in the front is actually a super cool restaurant and bar in the back. I ate here with a pretty big group the night of the Christmas Tree Lighting downtown, and the staff seemed flustered but was still very hospitable. I believe we received a discount at the end for our prolonged wait. If the crowd La Piazza saw that night was anything to go by, I’m sure the staff has learned quickly how to improve service efficiency. The pizza and salads ordered were worth the wait, and I would come here again if the opportunity presented itself because I think this place has a lot of cool potential.

You need to check this place out as you might not even know what it can offer. It has a slightly strange layout, as a carryout/dine in section in the front(that looks like a 6 pack store), but then a very cool, hip full restaurant in the back. People seemed nice to me, though a little green. I found the owner to be a very pleasant guy who made the dine more enjoyable. Prices were good. Menu was vast(maybe too much)? But there is certainly an option for everyone. Only thing I think they could work on is food presentation. I’ll come back. Lancaster doesn’t really have a full style Italian restaurant downtown, and the ones they do have are much worse than this. Walk the extra block, give is a shot. And make sure not to judge a book by its cover. Walk to the rear.

Save your time and your money! The pizza is mediocre at best. The service was some of the worst I’ve had — the staff was so rude. Several beers were being changed over and the waitress complained that a beer got on her, she didn’t know which ones were in bottles to get instead. We had to ask for separate checks multiple times as she came back with one check, then split incorrectly. I ordered waffle fries, she brought plain, and insisted that’s what I ordered — which also came after the rest of our food instead of before. There are too many good restaurants in Lancaster to waste your time at this dump.

Went here for lunch in the front street facing area. Great little spot with a very large menu selection. The entrances and different dining areas are a little difficult to grasp with the layout of this place. The food was great pizzeria cuisine. The service was friendly. With having two dining areas for lunch, the staff were running around a lot and seemed to have trouble keeping orders and patrons straight. I would only offer the front area for lunch and then both areas for dinner. I’m tentatively giving this rating because I’m interested to come back and try out the back dinning area. This is a new location for them and they have a few bugs to work out but I will definitely be back to try them again.

Really disappointed in this place– we’ve been twice– once for drinks and last night for dinner with friends. We went for drinks and service was terrible– really bad bartenders. Maybe the bartenders are new but really unorganized and chaotic. Then last night for dinner the place was less than half full and it took more than an hour to get our meal and the waitress forgot our salad and didn’t come back for our drink orders. We were even going to order more and stay longer but the service was so bad we left and went to DipCo. Sad– the place could be nice but service is so terrible we won’t be back. Also– I can confirm what the other review said– midway through our meal an older man with dark hair– maybe the owner/manager was berating the bartenders for at least 10 straight minutes next to the bar. Really uncomfortable for patrons and pretty unprofessional. Plus– we were waiting to order! If I was the owner I’d be ashamed. Don’t keep your customers waiting!

My family is a bunch of Italian-Americans from Queens, NY. They’re naturally pretty picky about pizza, and there are very few places in Lancaster that my dad will go for pizza. I picked up a few pies from La Piazza this weekend and he approved. It was especially good reheated so we’ll probably ask for it well done next time, but regardless — seal of approval!

Great prices, awesome food, cool atmosphere. New place, but going to blow up with time! Pizza, salads, wings, subs, everything was delicious. Good family spot too!

Don’t even waste your time trying this place… worst staff in the world!!! Not even greeted with a «hello» asked very rudely by a waitress do you have reservations? And then she turned around and said see them wherever they don’t have reservations just not at any of the glass tables. If my kids weren’t with me I would of walked out but they didn’t want to leave. Waited almost 10 mins to have a waitress come take our drink orders. Never given a wine or alcohol list even after we asked if they had drinks. The worst part is the wait staff. Very Rude!!! I will never come back to this place again and I suggest that you don’t even waste your money on this establishment.

Firstly, I really wanted to like this place but I am at a loss how anyone could run a new restaurant so incompetently and not be on Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares. To start with, a wait staff that is admittedly very new and inexperienced and apparently they don’t seem to care about that. They were bordering on rude and acted as if we were an inconvenience and bothering them for being there. Menus are very, very difficult to read. Some genius decided it was a smart idea to frost the plastic covers on each page of the menu. There is serious competition for a Darwin Award in that one! The restaurant wasn’t even ¼ full and we had to wait for everything. Again as if we were there for them. Mistakes were made on our food from the kitchen staff and there was a billing over charge. Food was average at best, however the prices are set for above average. I do have to admit kids menu items for dinner are very reasonably priced. As for me, I do hope they improve and wish them well but I will not be taking my family back to this restaurant ever again!

Stopped in the other night to give this place a try. We got a taco pizza as that’s one of the wife’s favorites and hadn’t had one in a while but we ended up completely abandoning it after a couple of bites. The crust was completely wrong — tasted like whole wheat bread dough that hadn’t been proofed and baked up like a brick. The toppings were sparse and weak with almost zero meat or cheese and the bulk of it comprised of what tasted like a jar of corn salsa. It was so bad, we’re now using it as a $ 19 speed bump in front of the house to slow down neighborhood traffic.

Save your money. Terrible food. How do you screw up pizza? It seems like they are not even trying to make edible food.
