I have two kids(4 and 6) and this is a hidden gem for kid activities near Boston. It’s just a 45 minute drive from Boston and very economical and friendly. My kids love the mini golf course. Each hole is a miniature of a hole from a famous golf course. Adults are $ 6.75 each, yet less for kids, and kids 5 and under are free. When we came the first day they were open this spring they charged us just $ 12 for all four of us since the course hadn’t yet gotten spruced up, but the kids still had a great time. There is also a basketball bank shot area with baskets that are lower than the average that kids can shoot and get in. Only my four year old was interested so they didn’t charge us at all. Even little kids can try the driving range which is priced by the pail(e.g., 60 balls for $ 12) which can be split among any number of people. The center doesn’t have any food(except for the ice cream stand and some candy), but I like that because I can pack a sandwich lunch and there are plenty of picnic tables and grass under shady trees. It’s a much better deal than Kimball’s which is expensive, crowded and stressful. For a relaxing trip that doesn’t break the bank, this is the place. The only possible downside is that there isn’t much shade on the mini golf or bank shot, so it’s best to come in the morning before the sun is too strong.

Good: pro shop, condition of the greens, price for the Jumbo bucket(go there and split this one and the price gets even better) Not so good: Bring your bug spray, If your teaching some one to swing bring a spare club for them because the range clubs are so bent and sad, and the mats are struggling making the rubber tee’s way too high even by modern standards. All in all not a bad place to come for someone who has their own club.

I’m Unilocaling about the ice cream place in the lot. Not sure why it isn’t on the map, but they have the best butter pecan ever! Friendly service makes this bunni-gurl super uper happy and they were good. Of course, having a double scoop in a waffle cone isn’t the greatest thing for my hips but my lips don’t lie… it was AWESOME!

I’m good to bump this up to 5 stars. Their grass tees have been in good condition all summer. Not amazing, but better than most grass driving ranges and the soil is not too hard on your irons. Besides the week or two that the practice green was being aerated, it’s been in good condition and barely anyone uses it which makes for good putting practice. One thing I like — they’ve added a lot of new demo clubs and they have current model, high-end clubs like Titleist AP2710 and Mizuno MP-68 irons. You can take two demo clubs out for no charge. I’ve pretty much stopped going to other driving ranges because the experience here is consistently good.

Although I did not use the driving range or the bank-shot basketball court, I have to Unilocal the mini-golf course. This review is for the mini-golf course only. All the holes are modeled after famous real golf holes… thats where it stops being cool. Although its a clever idea to play putt-putt on a hole modeled after TPC at Sawgrass or Spyglass Hill, the construction and layout is so poor it makes you want to stop trying. No matter how hard or soft you hit the ball, it takes a path directly to the«hazzard area» and runs right off the astro turf and onto the real grass(the holes are not completly enclosed by bricks. I consider myself an average golf putter and I was getting very frustrated on how impossible the couse was. If a grown adult who plays golf is having trouble completing the course… how can it be fun for kids. Your better off taking the drive to Kimball Farms or Max’s Country Golf. The batting cages were average… nothing special
