Full review here, on another Unilocal page… www.yelp.com/biz/odonnell-and-phillips-lancaster To add to what I wrote on the other page, It’s been 18 months since my first procedures with Dr. O’Donnell. I feel as though I’m sort of orphaned patient in that, I’m not confident about going back to O’Donnel & Phillips to adjust the work I got there. So the dentures are loose and need to be relined which, apparently, is something of an ongoing process in the long term as well as the short term. Something I was not told initially. Part is my responsibility and so it will be part of yours as a patient there. You have to demand answers and timelines and you have to make sure that you get what you need. It won’t necessarily happen automatically which, I think, a lot of us are used to. In summary, the procedures performed by Dr. O’Donnell were satisfactory but I don’t feel as though I was given what I needed to make things work in the long term. Follow up appointments are the responsibility of the patient as is, somewhat sadly, knowing the right questions to ask. There’s no doubt Dr. O’Donnell is competent, even a very good dentist and oral surgeon. The question is, whether his style of get in-get out, dentistry suits your needs. In my case, it’s left me looking for someone else to fill in those gaps at, by the way, more expense to me.
