Prices aren’t that great & everything is final sale. Just not what I was expecting and won’t go out of my way to come here again. Staff is kind of suffocating as well.

These outlets have been steadily going down the tubes over the past few years. About 30% of the stores are vacant and it seems like there are more vacant stores every year(we visit every November). There are only a few good stores left and a lot of «old lady» stores which we usually skip. I hope somebody rescues this center and revamps it. The façade needs to be updated and they need a lot of new tenants.

Outlet malls around the holidays or in summer are equal to purgatory. They literally truck the tourists in and they seem to zombified, not in search of brains, but walking around moaning«deeeals!» There are a vast number of empty units as the economy is still not in a favorable state, and online shopping has replaced the good ol’ brick and mortar. I only come here if I cannot find something anywhere else, and that is RARE.

Well this is really depressing… I remember when I was a little kid, we visited the outlets since we were in the Lancaster area at that time. During that time, all of the spaces were filled with stores that sold various merchandise. This included clothing, shoes, food, books, and toys. It was crowded at that time. But during our recent visit, everything was turned upside down. An exorbitant amount of stores were completely empty. Even the stores that I visited long ago were gone too. It was no wonder that finding a parking spot here was easy. It was because of the vacant store spaces. Obviously we didn’t spend a lot of time here at this depressing outlet complex. The operating outlets here in general were mostly made up of clothing and shoes. A furniture store(West Elm Outlet) and Disney store was operational too. During our time here, we looked at the furniture store, a shoe store, Disney, and Izod. Well, at least we were able to see the new Star Wars trailer at Disney. :) Believe it or not, we didn’t walk out empty-handed from this depressing outlet complex. This is why I gave an extra star. We bought some clothes at the Izod Outlet since they were having a «going out of business» sale, and the prices were really good. Yes, you read that correctly. This outlet is going out of business too, which will obviously result in another vacant unit. A separate, positive review will be made to Izod Outlet later. Overall this outlet complex isn’t what it used to be. With so many vacant units, you wouldn’t be spending a lot of time here. You’re probably better off going to Tanger Outlets, which is several blocks down US-30. I definitely won’t be coming back here again.

I would give them zero stars because they are not favorable toward non Caucasians or interracial couples. Save your money and shop outside of Lancaster county. I called rockvale outlets customer service and they said there is nothing they can do about rude management at their outlet stores. Don’t go to GHBass because the manager Jeremy will show his disdain for people not like him. Who would support people who doesn’t love all kinds of people! I wouldn’t support rockvale outlets in Lancaster county!

Love this place. Much better than Tanger Outlets, and in my opinion, better selection, and MUCH better sales. They have everything from clothing, book, Christian, housewares, and specialty stores. I’ve found some amazing deals in all my years of shopping here. I’ve bought great quality pieces of clothing for as low as 3 or 4 dollars. QVC outlet ALWAYS has clothing for very cheap(generally under $ 10). The only stumbling block is that most of the clothing there is designed for older women. Once in awhile, you will find a little something that fits the younger age group. My favorite stores are VF outlet, Bass, Maurices, Pepperidge Farm, and Deb(this store is actually closing in a few days and I was lucky enough to snag some AMAZING going-out-of-business sales. 80−90% off. Act fast-store closes on Monday and there’s not much merchandise left.) However, this outlet does have its hits or misses. Most of the time, the sales in the stores are very good, but there are some days that the sale and selection of the stores is so-so, nothing to freak out over. It really depends on when you come. I find the ideal times to come in order to get the good sales is at the end of the season or in the summertime.

Rockvale Outlets has over 80 stores for apparel, shoes, home décor, books, electronics, and restaurants. I was able to find some women’s clothes to purchase at LOFT. Stores look new and clean, and there is ample parking.

The place is huge. Unlike the Tanger Outlets specialty selection(clothes… like all clothes) Rockvale is established more as the jack-of-all-trades type of setup. They have everything here: shoes, clothes, clothes for kids/women/men, camping supplies, oriental rugs(???), etc. You can definitely make a day out of the place, and it is a bargain hunter’s paradise, a lot of great items here that you can find at massive discounts(especially shoes).
