The store was large but not very interesting. I won’t go back because they had only one person checking(and and answering the phone). This store is often the only place that poor people can afford and making them wait endlessly is an afront. Shame.

Sallys! My favorite Boutique! This is not a place to just run into and grab a few things, you must plan to spend several hours if you really want to find«The Find of the Day!» and I have more times than not! I’m a Chico’s kind of shopper, and my wardrobe is primarily from that store. .. with a stop at somebody else’s closet, and then on to Sally’s. I always figure if they pay Chico’s kind of price, they take care of it accordingly; if they pay Walmart’s price, same theory ~ it’s trash! Memorable finds? Jade bracelet, Coach Messanger Bag($ 7.50 — not marked Coach on the outside) Brand New unopened package of 700 thread count, Egytian Linen, Queen Size Sheets,($ 15), signed piece of art from a Juried Artist that is now gracing my living room wall,($ 7.50), a Heywood Wakefield drop-leaf table($ 35) and I could go on and on and on. .. .. but you must be prepared to dig and spend a little time looking! It’s not going to jump out at you! I’m one of those«regular shoppers» another reviewer mentioned, and yes, I’m proud of it. I live a couple of miles away, and like Thursday mornings ~ Senior Day from opening to 1PM ~ more discounts and not as crowded as Wednesday when it’s a free for all! Try it ~ you’ll like it!

Ahhhhhmazing vintage dresses here! It’s like stepping into the past. Prices are fair on most items. I would never reveal this if I lived nearby but since I live on the other side of the country… Go go go!

This store is very large. Some items seem overpriced but sometimes you find some great prices.

I’ve been in there four times now to buy the same piece of furniture. No tag, no help from staff whatsever. Very dissappointed and frustrated.

An utterly undistinguished thrift store. It is exactly like every other Salvation Army store you’ve ever been maybe not quite as nice. You’ll usually wait a long time to check out for some reason I’ve never been able to figure out. I’ve never found anything especially surprising there. The offerings are well picked over by regulars who are, well, quite regular apparently. Slightly more on that below. Suffice to say, you’re going to have to be very lucky to make an exceptional find here. The only odd thing about this particular SA is the number of high end European cars you’ll see in the parking lot. This is, apparently, the place for the suburbanites to shop. I’m guessing a lot of ebay businesses are stocked from their shelves.

I am a «frequent buyer» at this store… I make it a point to stop in there at least once a week or so. New items are added all the time… Always plenty to look through. The clothes are all orgazined by color. Would be nicer to be organized by size, but easier I’m sure to put them on the rack by color. Always lots of shoes, bags and nic naks too. But what I seem to enjoy the most is the grand selection of books. I can spend a substantial amount of time looking through them all. The prices are fantastic. I always go home with a book or two or many more. If you enjoy finding a bargin, and interesting out of the ordinary things… this is the place for you.

This is one of the better thrift stores in the area. I’ve had a few good finds here myself, one of my favorite shirts is from here, and I’ve found a few decent vintage items. Personally, I think this Salvation Army is better for clothes than household items, since the selection of clothes and shoes is huge, and changes constantly. The prices are fair, and are often discounted according to color of the week, or half price on Wednesdays. On the whole, it’s your standard, every day, second-hand type of place, and if that’s your thing, it’s worth checking out.

They have a great selection. Wednesday is half-price day. I’ve gotten dozens of things here ranging from Brooks Brothers shirts to pinstriped wool suits. Employees are friendly, clothing is cheap and plentiful. I’ve dropped a lot of stuff off here, too. Everyone seems pretty competent, everything seems pretty functional. No real complaints about the operation. My only beef with them is that they staple their price tags right in the collars of most of their men’s shirts, which pretty much ruins the fabric. Grrr.

While i havent been in the store, ive dropped stuff off. There is a nice sized bin out front to put clothes into. If you go around back to the garage door, a guy will come out and help you. This location is supposed to take only clothes, but if you go to the garage out back they will take food items. The location that takes food items is in Lancaster city but they have regular deliveries between the 2. Ive found them to be friendly and the fact that they will take my old clothes and give them to needy people helps a lot! Located north of dillerville rd on manheim pike(rt 72)
