If I owned a home bar(or even a home), I would be a frequent customer at this little place on the Lincoln Highway across from the outlet malls in Lancaster. They have everything that an amateur or professional bar could need short of the actual beer(they do carry a little bottled beer in the front of the store but nothing like the selection of taps they have). For the hipsters, they have«classic» beer tappers from cheesy 1970s brands. For the serious basement drunk, they have serious taps from around the world. And to match, they have coasters from the same brands both loose(starting at a quarter a piece) to packs of 100 for people who want to do some serious entertaining. Of course right on their awning, they give away what they specialize in. Really interesting steins from around the world. Some of them are so rare they cost hundreds of dollars and others are so kitschy they only cost $ 10. But for anyone’s tastes, they probably have something. About the only disappointment was they only had a small wall of neon signs. I have honestly seen more at department stores than here. And, of course, they’re a bit Pennsylvania heavy, though not entirely. But I’m not ready to plop down a couple hundred just to have a Guinness sign in my apartment anyway. For those who have taken the plunge to personalize a nice den, however, this place needs to be stopped at. Even if just to prove that some places in Lancaster are actually big on electricity after all.

I have recently ordered on two different occasions, beer tap handles and I must honestly say that Sam’s sent the product on time and in the exact condition I had expected it to arrive in. Additionally I made an inquiry about my pending product and the person I dealt with was friendly, courteous and had all the information right away. if you need to purchase anything beer related, I would only recommend Sam’s

On my first visit to Lancaster, I was unable to visit Sams since they are closed on Sundays. During my latest visit to Lancaster, I made it known that we had to visit Sams. Why the need to go to Sams? First, out of sheer curiosity. As you’re driving down Lincoln highway, the awning grabs you with the large letters SAM’S MANCAVE. Then it makes you start wondering what could be in there & how you could add it to your man cave at home. The second reason you should go is because Sam himself is among the nicest people you’ll ever meet. When I walked in I was the only person & there was no music playing so it felt a little awkward. Sam engaged me in conversation by talking about the story of his collection as well as the history of beer in general. Speaking of beer that’s what Sams is all about. You will find anything beer related: steins, taps, bottle openers, signs, glasses & bar towels. The only thing I would tweak slightly about Sams is since it’s called a place to start your man cave, I would’ve like to see a bit more variety. Man caves come in all types, not just basement bars. With that said, music memorabilia, more sports merchandise & maybe stuff from your local tiki bar would have given Sams the 5 star rating. Sams is a throwback to a time before the Internet when you had local businesses sell items like these & it became a place you would seek out. Yes, Sam does sell his stuff online, but it’s not the same as actually picking it up & having a chat with Sam. I look forward to visiting again the next time I’m in town.

Staff were super friendly, and the selection was impressive. I was in a hurry, so did not spend nearly enough time looking into all their glasses.

Sam’s has a pretty amazing collection of breweriana to browse. The selection covers just about any beer related item you can imagine. The prices are reasonable. You may be able to save on a few things if diligently hunt online but at Sam’s, you can hold the item in your hand before you buy it. If you’re looking for steins, signs, coasters, openers, tap handles, trays and a million other things related to beer, check out Sam’s.

Sam’s certainly does have just about everything having to do with beer, except beer, of any store I have ever found. The place has all sorts beer memorabilia, souvenirs and, of course, beer steins. I’m not much of a beer collecting aficionado type, but if I were, I would think this would be the visit. By the way, does anyone really drink out of those German like beer steins? I’ve seen a lot of beer drinking, even in Germany, but have hardly ever seen anyone actually using those beer steins except for decorative purposes.

Awesome store — great collection of all things beer! They have almost anything beer-related — shirts, pint glasses, signs, all kinds of cool stuff!
