Save-A-Lot is just a few blocks from everyone in the South Side Neighborhood of Lancaster City, making it the easiest grocery shopping option for many neighbors. Save-A-Lot carries a good selection of items. Being a ‘discount grocery’ you will find a lot of off-brand company names. They have a great ‘Goya Section’ and every week are truly good about bringing in something seasonal. Their meat selection and the customer service skills of the cashiers, is the area that needs the biggest improvements. Though, like I said — it’s close. We take a few minute walk with a radio flyer wagon and pretty much get all of our grocery shopping done… and affordability.
