Slugger’s Pizzeria

First time here.
Ordered here after the seeing the take-​out special of 2 large (16″) pizzas for $ 16.99. I was tired of the «factory» made chain pizza. I wanted local pizzeria pizza! I really liked it! The plain cheese and bacon pizza is something I will order again. It is a nice corner pizzeria with TVs. Good place to chill, eat and watch the college football bowl season… great staff too!!!

Pizza is good. Cheesesteaks are good. Great lunch special and wonderful, happy, and pleasant employees.

Awesome pizza always order it for the office party’s lol :) wish they had a thing for business accounts so u get a discount when ordering large amount of pies but other than that the food was delicious and we plan to order from there again :) best pizza place in Lancaster county :)

I saw the reviews and thought I would try it. I ordered a calzone with no meat and a slice of pizza to be delivered. The minimum was $ 10, my order came to $ 9.98. The computer would not allow it, so I ordered a drink. Not too bad yet…
The girl says I will call you and you can meet me in the lobby. Okay, I guess bringing it to my room is not going to happen.
After I give a decent tip I ask if utensils are inside, I was told, no, you have to ask for them. HUH? You are delivering to a HOTEL! I do not carry utensils with me. This was a first for me and I am in a hotel 300 nights a year!
I look at the bill up in my room, $ 1.00 for delivery. Funny, it is not listed on the web site anywhere. It is only $ 1 but it is the point.
Then the food… The calzone was decent, a little under cooked for me, but not too bad. The slice of pizza was not good at all. Rubbery, almost like they put it in a microwave.
So, I would not order from them again with everything that happened.
Overall disappointed!
PS. I am a pizza junkie from Brooklyn. I eat pizza 2 – 3 nights a week, sometimes more.

We are out of towners and heard about Sluggers. Very pleased with the pizza. They had a special of 2 pizzas for 16.99 and we ended up taking a lot home and leftovers were good too! I especially liked the bacon topping as it was real broiled slices of bacon! Yum!

Just finished our delivery… fast and hot when it arrived. Treating my employees to a lunch on a cold MOnday – worth every smile I recieved!

I order from Sluggers often. I tend to mostly get pizza delivered. I like it. There are a number of options in the city and I keep coming back to Sluggers. I like the sauce, the toppings are good and plentiful, and the delivery service is typically fast. I have also had wings, salads, and subs. All of the items have been very good. For pizza delivery in the city you can’t go wrong with Sluggers.

Ate there 1x when I was 7 months pregnant and ordered a cheeseburger sub and I end up with food poison! My husband did not however but he ordered pizza!
Ghetto inside and the people were not friendly. Not recommended!
If you’re at a game and want food go elsewhere!

Have lived minutes away for five years now and like to get pizza from different places so I don’t get tired of one place. As of this year I am comfortable enough to say slugger’s is THE place I get my pizza. I can’t really say exactly what it is I like so much but it is always consistent and always so good! Fair prices and great customer service as well!

Stopped in for lunch on a whim and I’ve been coming back ever since. Pizza is great NY style, and can’t beat the prices. $ 4 for their lunch special — 2 slices and a drink. Highly recommended.

I am a sucker for good service, and this place has it. I love mom and pop shops and the friendliness you get from places like this.
My family ordered two pies and both were good. The crust is by far the best part of their pizza as it is the right part chewy, and other part crispy. Everything seemed fresh, and high quality and they make the pizza right in front of you.
However, back to the service. Everyone was extremely friendly however they went above and beyond for my family. During a visit to a family member in the hospital, we went here to get some pies. While we were waiting to get the pizzas we noticed he had Phillies Bobble head on a shelf. My family is all big Phillies fans and on our way out he handed us the bobble head. This doesn’t sound like much, sure, but he didn’t have to do it and the gesture made our night.
I hope to visit here again, and will be raving it up for a long time.

Good pizza. Wings are ok… sometimes inconsistent though. Prices are decent for what you get, especially their 2 slices and a drink for $ 3.49. 2 thumbs up

righteous slices. best pizza shop in lancaster and quite possibly all of central pennsylvania. the pizza is perfect from the crust up – just the right amount of everything, almost sweet. the sauce is perfect, zingy and flavorful. plenty of cheese tops off the deal. i’m hungry now.
the pizza is awesome, the cheesesteaks are amazing (by central pennsylvania standards). the hoagies are actual italian hoagies, not the ham and american cheese you find so often out here. the slices are BIG (the biggest in town) and CHEAP!
it gets hot in there in the summer, but come on dude, you’re inside a neighborhood pizza shop on the corner. you take what you get…

Best pizza joint in the area. Have been searching for that perfect cut of pie for a while now, this is by far the closest. Haven’t dabbled in the sandwiches, but I go pizza shops for the pizza. Desent sausage and cheese, strong crust and exceptional sauce. Try them out

My friend turned me on to these guys. I have found my pizza place I will order from. Excellent food at an excellent price.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from this pizzeria so that is an indication that these guyz can make a pizza that is to my liking… my wife seconds that and says…“itz not NY but pretty close (she grew up in the Bronx)… she says they use a tad too much sauce for her tastes but I say itz good pizza. I ordered a cheese-​steak sub, too and it was good… not fond of the sub roll… I’m a 2 Cousins sub roll fan so thatz why.
I came here cuz, I initially went to Disma’s off Rancke Ave & 462(E. King St) only to find out « Unilocal» did not inform me they went out of business… way to go «Yelp.»
Itz a local pizzeria atmosphere… come as you are… seating is limited… about 20… maybe. I sat and ate half my sub until my pizza order came ready and then took the rest home to my wife. Total wait time was about 15 minutes like the guy said who took my order. There were about 4 patrons in the place at the time and they had already ordered and were eating when I came in. I’ll keep patronizing this pizzeria… no problem.

No complaints about the pizza. I ordered a sausage and black olives for take-​out, it was very good, loved the crust, just the right amount of sauce.
Inside the establishment however, was incredibly hot, worse than outside. I have no idea how people were able to sit and eat there in such uncomfortable conditions. I feel bad for the people working there.

Pizza was good. I thought the sauce was a little too acidic, and it could have been in the oven few minutes longer. But in all fairness, they told us 25 minutes when we called to order and we showed up after 15 so they probably just didn’t want to keep us waiting. I will definitely try them again!
