Social Security Administration

This may be an odd review, since it’s not exactly retail, but after my first visit to the local SS office, I’m quite satisfied with their service. I had to run an elderly client out today to collect several pieces of financial information, and I was dreading a long wait in a gross waiting room with overworked and underpaid employees. I was happily wrong.
First, the building is new, with ample parking, a quiet yet convenient location, and a very nice and roomy waiting area… not that we even used it long! Not only were we helped within 30 seconds of walking in, but the employee was more than helpful, supplying us with printouts of everything we needed, offering multiple copies, and giving us the direct phone line of the other government agency we needed to contact for information he couldn’t help us with. He was extremely patient with my client and sympathetic after he heard the client’s wife is currently in a nursing home.
I am no longer wary of visiting this office and look forward to working with them again in the future.
