We made a quick stop at this place while visiting Lancaster. Nice little shop, very friendly owner and good ice cream! We’ll stop by again when in town.

Fun little ice cream shop. Plenty of favors — cones(safe-tee, waffle or waffle chocolate dipped, or cups. We sat inside(seating for about 6 – 8 inside) but they have large outdoor seating. When did sea-salt caramel ice cream arrive on the scene? It is delicious!

My Lancaster ice cream heart belongs to Splits & Giggles. This little shop is oh so adorable with its fun wallpaper and beautiful blue wall(perfect for photo ops!). Outside you will find a cute back patio area for you to enjoy your sweet treat al fresco which is what I did. Best ever red velvet ice cream(please give ben & jerry’s a lesson on how to do it right, theirs is so wrong) with actual bits of beautiful red velvet cake. Other flavors are delicious too. Waffle cone was as fresh as could be. Service was excellent. Five stars.

Well constructed and tasty sandwiches with a variety of options but not ridiculously pretentious. Ice cream is Hershey’s and while it’s not«artisanal,» it’s still Hershey’s, and they have lots of flavors. Best part is the price– the S&G sundae is such a steal. Ambiance is wonderful and dog friendly. Great little ice cream shop.

I was meeting a friend in Lancaster, and found this place on Unilocal. It already had five star reviews, and did NOT disappoint. Tucked inside a tiny corner storefront, Splits & Giggles feels very warm and inviting, if a bit cramped. There are only about two tables inside, but they do have a lovely patio out back with additional seating. The staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as I entered. The menu looked delicious. All of the sandwiches had Mary in the name, because the store is on the corner of Lemon and Mary. Personally, I think they should add some menu items with Lemon in the name, just to complete the theme. That might be misleading if they don’t feature actual lemons, but here are some ideas: The Meadowlark Lemon, The Jack Lemmon, how about a Lemon Drop Kids Meal? It’s an old Bob Hope movie, in case you’re wondering. Anyway, on the review. I had the Proud Mary, which is turkey, provolone, roasted red pepper, basil and artichoke spread. I chose wheat bread, and had it grilled as a pannini. It was delicious. The blend of basil, pepper, and artichoke added a nice touch to what would have just been a turkey sandwich. My companion had the Hail Mary: hummus, tomato, romaine, cucumber, and sprouts. She was very happy with her choice. I also sampled a few ice cream flavors. All of them were delicious, and I settled on a milkshake made with salted caramel cruch ice cream. It was wonderful. My friend and I sat outside on the patio, and enjoyed the setting every bit as much as the food and the ice cream. I don’t live in the Lancaster area, but if I did, I would definitely be visiting this place again and again.

A group of 7 of us stopped in while on vacation — I cannot speak more highly of this place. Wonderful experience! David, one of the owners, was scooping. He and the other employee were warm and engaging, and VERY patient with our indecisive party of 4 adults and 3 kids under 10yrs old! Generous samples were given, and the prices were AMAZINGLY low(94 cents for a kids cone… I paid a little over $ 2 for two full-sized scoops.) Outdoor patio seating was both spacious and cozy!

A nice little place we can walk to. Prices are very reasonable and they make their own specialty cones. They have Hershey ice cream. They also do sandwiches, soups, and salad.

Delicious! No soft serve ice cream, but the waffle cones were so crispy and the ice cream was creamy and scrumptious. Super cheap too!

Stopped in this small ice cream shop while I was visiting back east last year. I keep remembering how good it was so I decided to finally write a review on here! I had the candy bar overload ice cream on a waffle cone — it was fantastic! The waffle cone was fresh and crispy and just perfect. and they didn’t charge more to upgrade to the waffle cone! The ice cream also tasted better than most. The guy who was working told me something about how Hershey’s puts less air in their ice cream when they make it. It was nice to see someone knowledgeable and excited about their job! It was also super cheap. I think I remember for my 2 scoops of ice cream in a waffle cone it was about $ 3? They had a pretty decent looking soup/sandwich menu too. I love peanut butter so the Presley panini sounds simply amazing. It’s little mom-and-pop shops like this that I absolutely love and want to succeed. I’m incredibly jealous of everyone that lives there. I want to come back so bad!
