Sun Nails

So, there weren’t many good reviews about this place HOWEVER, being new to this area I tried a place in Palmdale that got an average of 4.5 stars and I left 100% dissatisfied. I explained to the guy (Tony) at Sun Nails how horrible the last place did my nails and he listened to every single request. He even took off the pink gel when he started because I said I wanted to try and see what a different shade of pink gel looked like. He didn’t have an attitude when I asked him to redo something to my liking, he asked before he did something what I wanted and I left 100% satisfied. If you left this place unhappy then you definitely didn’t have Tony doing your nails and you probably didn’t open up about something you did or didn’t like. The lady even said if I chip or break them within the first few days that I can come back free of charge. How much better can you get?! I finally found a place I like after 2 months of searching.

They are so rude here! They sell gift certificates but don’t honor them! And make you look like a fool. Nobody should be treated that way!

It’s not the fanciest place ever, and sometimes there’s a bit of a language barrier, but they are SOOOO NICE. They’re happy to fix any problems (even if they didn’t cause them) and try their very best to make sure you leave happy. Closed mouths don’t get fed, if something is happening that you don’t like, speak up! The staff is extremely accommodating.

Love the ladies here, always get my pedicures here and have never had any problems with them. They are clean and professional. They have been remodleing so any complaints about old dirty chairs or other equipment are out dated at this point. They have new pedicure chairs, a new sink, new tvs, and are in the process of putting new flooring down.

Her sister Fi is here (pedicure) but apparently Lin decided to leave. I have been getting my nails done w her since Mickey left almost 5 yrs ago. Wth?! They won’t even tell me where she went…
Fi btw is the best, she takes her time and never rushes. Will keep coming here for her magic toe touch

Had to go here to get my nails fixed because another salon messed them up. They did a much better job! Going here from now on!

Terrible. and I do mean terrible experience! Went for French tips and this is what I got. My 5 year old could do better. Pedi chairs were gross. And the attitudes suck. For $ 60 I expect a little more service.

I love getting my pedicure done here. Fi is the best she takes her time and gets all the little details and is very nice.

Long story short, my daughter and I are new to lancaster. I’ve always gone to the same salon in Santa Clarita. So, I try something new and bring my daughter to get hers. We walk in and the place is DISGUSTING. I didn’t even want to sit down or touch ANYTHING. So, I had to wait at least 20 minutes for them. And they weren’t professional or nice. Very rude people.
So I sit down with the lady and she starts cleaning my cuticles. She hurt me SO bad, I had to pull my hand away a few times and she just kept digging. I had at least 4 nails that were bleeding when she was done. So, I get gels on, and they look HORRIBLE. Honestly my 4 year old could have painted them better. It took her 3 coats, and at this point I just wanted to leave. Not to mention the lights you put your nails in were SO disgusting and filthy! I was so grossed out. So after I’m all cut up she decides to put alcohol all over them. After I told her no more cause it burned, she looked at me like I was crazy and insisted to squeeze my fingers where the cuts were. At this point I really just wanted to punch her in the face.
So then it’s my daughters turn. I have no real complains with the lady that did hers except she was the biggest BITCH, and made my daughter seem like she was asking for the world. She got mad at her, like c’mon she’s 4 dude. Anyway, my daughters nails chipped the next day. Horrible job.
And. My nails STILL hurt so bad. This is a week and a half almost later. I posted a picture of my pink gel nails. You can look at the picture for yourself.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to my WORST enemy.
$ 40 out of my pocket, and a complete waste. I would have rather done my own nails and could have saved my poor cuticles! :(
I hope that they get inspected, and have to close the «business». They don’t deserve a nickel.

Went there for my first mani in like year. I’m kinda new to the AV so I didn’t really know what place would be good. Seeing this place when I got an oil change about 2 weeks ago, I decided to try it out. The place is ok looking on the inside but the nail ladies aren’t too nice. They barely speak English and they aren’t rude but they aren’t necessarily friendly. It was my first time trying out the gel nails and I got French tip. It looks ok but I think my sis (who is not a nail tech) could’ve done a better job lol too bad she lives an hour away from the AV. I’m not sure if I would go back.

They were just ok. I got gel nails done, and the workers didn’t speak English and didn’t understand how to do what I asked for. I wouldn’t go back.

Had to find a place for nail fill as my regular person was ill.
Young man was very nice, spoke perfect English and station
very clean and his hands and nails were very clean.
But gel equipment was filthy dirty inside and out. Yuk. I put
my hands in without touching anything and could not wait for
the light to shut off. He was very attentive and came immediately
to put oil on my nails and told me to wash my hands. But the
soap container was also very dirty and the containers for the
scrub brushes were also dirty. So I elected not to use any
of them and quickly paid for their services and left.
Price was right and would love to make this my regular salon
as it is close to my home, but will not go back until they clean
up their equipment.

I wanted to treat myself and my two nieces to mani and pedis we came across Sun Nails. I got my oh so adorable gel nails and my nieces both got spa pedis. My gels where only $ 25.00!!! everywhere else to my knowledge starts at $ 30.00, but what really sold me was my nieces spa pedis was only $ 15.00 and that’s with a design! My oldest nails are neon yellow with black polka dots and my youngest nails are hot pink with cute daisys. They are all really nice and made us feel really comfy. I will definitely make this a regular.

Walk-​ins are welcome. Nice & clean interior. Friendly service. However, a pedicure & manicure was $ 34.50 (I thought she said $ 32.50 but the credit card receipt showed $ 2 more… unless they charge a CC fee) so with tip, I spent $ 40. Made me recall why I don’t go very often. Seems that all the nail places in Lancaster cost this much. Wonder whatever happened to the $ 25 manicure/​pedicure? They have two TV’s and several spa pedicure chairs. Located in the shopping center across the street North from Antelope Valley Plaza.
