I hate to be the one to write the first poor review but it’s just upsetting when you pay for something and it’s not done right. I will start off by saying that all the ladies were very nice, I went in for a gel mani and a regular pedi which I paid $ 38 for. The cuticles were not taken out, some of my nails ended up squared and some of them round? And on top of that I’ve had it for 3 days now and the color is already chipping. Needless to say I had a poor experience, oh and I asked for white on my toes and knowing that color is already hard to work with(I know this and I’m not an esthetician) she used a white that was chunky so it didn’t apply evenly, so I ended up with chunky white polish w a heavy top coat and a poorly done manicure. And on top of that it took 2 hours, it was done by someone who seemed to be learning if I would’ve known I would’ve definitely gone elsewhere.

I’m not sure how this place has 5 stars. I am perplexed because my experience was the complete opposite. I had no clue that this place wasn’t Asian/Vietnamese owned, not that it matters to me, just typically nail shops are. When I walked in, I was taken aback by the looks I got when I walked in, like«what is this black girl doing here?» but I ignored it. I told the owner what I wanted, she told the nail tech the complete opposite. Which was weird. I started talking to the nail tech, asking her if they have a lot of black customers, she said no. Most black customers walk out when they see that the nail techs are white and Mexican, that sucks but it explains the reaction I got when I walked in. Now on to my nails, my nails were smooth and had barely grown out but I had broken two nails when I got there, the tech began to remove the gel polish from my acrylic with the tools, mind you she had really long stiletto nails herself, SMDH. Obviously the machine causes the nails to be rough, right. She could barely hold on to the machine due to her nails, the way she was grabbing my hand did not feel like she was confident at all. A different tech fixed my broken nails and the whole time she talked shit about the previous place who did my nails. Unfortunately, she should have done my nails properly before she said anything about anyone else. Both the nails she fixed were bumpy and hideous. I brought this to their attention, the owner took responsibility for two nails not the other 8 that they used the machine on as well. The owner stated that the imperfections where do to the previous job and the matte I wanted shoes it. Um, no I normally wear matte and never had the issue. My pedicure took forever as well just for simple wash, cut and polish. I feel like the owner wanted a place to get her nails done all the time so she decided to open a nail shop and hire all of her friends. Is this the worse place I’ve been to but«5 stars» is a tad bit too much. Also the nail techs had their dirty ass shoes in the pedicure tubs. Most nails shops won’t allow their nail techs to sit in the pedicure tubs. Yeah you can wash them but the point is, the appearance of it is really unprofessional. I should have listen to the women on my husband’s job site and gone to Palmdale. This place needs one of those make over shows to come in and revamp from the top to the bottom! ********************************************* I have gotten a «compliment» stating that this business is black owned. Oookkkayyy. I never mention what the nationality of the owner was, I explained what the nail tech told me. I know the owner whose is white also owns the barber shop in the complex to the rear with her husband who is black. I was strictly talking about how I was treated. Black, white, or Asian owned, this place is overrated and needs help. It could be a really good nail shop.

ABSOLUTELYLOVETHISPLACE!!! After listening to my sister ramble on about Amanda for months I finally decided to go see what she was all about… May I say MAGICAL! She seriously brought my nails to life with her touch. The whole atmosphere with all the girls was amazing. I felt like I was a long time friend. That’s how welcomed they made me feel. :) Thank you girls! You will now be my shop of choice. Xoxo

I booked an appointment with nail technician named Dolly. She is super sweet and her work is fabulous. Her prices are reasonable as well. Dolly is no longer at this salon. Follow her on instagram @Dollynails_
