West Park Villas

This review is mostly regarding management and the front office. I will say that this is one of the nicer complexes here in the AV, in fact the nicest in Lancaster. It’s well kept and is mostly peaceful and quiet. You do have a burglary or car theft here once in a blue moon but it’s peaceful for the most part. It is one of the more expensive ones though.
My issue here is with management, namely the Manager herself, Pam and one or two other ladies that work in the front office. I think one of the other ladies is Jennifer. They are very two-​faced, meaning they will give you fake smiles and talk behind your back the moment you leave the office if you bring an issue or complaint to them. I’m not the only one who feels this way, many people that I’ve come across here tell me the same thing. As a matter of fact, the manager, Pam once took my information about a very important and time sensative issue, telling me that she would get back to me and yet never did. She has done this to other people here so I know I’m not the only one. Very unprofessional. But I let it go because I won’t be here much longer anyway. Just be careful with them.
Not everybody in the front office is this unprofessional though. Some are very nice and helpful, such as Maureen and Meghan. They’re probably what save the front office from being completely unprofessional and I thank them for it. I’m much more comfortable talking with them.
As I said, my problem is not with the complex itself but with the front office. I truly hope Pam and her workers change their attitude and not only start listening to their hard working tenants but also keep their word.

Moved up to the AV from the Inland Empire and this is the best complex by far!!! Close to everything but away from the traffic. Super Quiet, super friendly staff, Gated with security and a lot of covered parking.

The complex looks nice and the office where you sign your lease is well decorated. People are friendly and available… at first! Do not let your eyes deceive you. It’s a pit! People leave dog poop in the grassy areas. The covered parking is a nightmare. Many people have scratches on their cars due to placement of posts for the parking structure. Cockroaches!!! The complex is close to the Harley Davidson Dealer so beware… the noise level down 20^th West can be a bit overwhelming. Whatever you do, no matter what discount might be offered… DO NOT TAKE AN OUTSIDE PERIMETER UNIT. I’d say look somewhere else completely but if you must, stay in the secure portion. 1 year is enough! We are out– NEVER TO RETURN!

This is the nicest complex in the AV. The staff are kind and friendly. They offer free movie rentals for an evening, just like redbox. They have older films and new releases, no need to go rent a film now.
The sample apartments are exactly like your own apartment. It’s a nice and quiet community. They offer leases from 6, 12 & 18 month leases. I highly recommend this complex to anyone. It’s clean, classy and respectful.
