For good authentic cheap Mexican food, this is the place to go. We always do take out, because yes — it’s in a gas station. But we have turned several of our neighbors onto it and they stop in for take out now too! Everything is fresh and made hot in front of you!
I am from Texas and I miss good authentic Mexican food and this really hits my cravings! We have had the empanadas, flautas, enchiladas, tacos and chimichanga. All was delicious — but my favorite is probably the chicken chimichanga. Also their plantains and black refried beans (made the right way with tons of flavor!) are awesome.
They also have breakfast and it’s great too!

This place is fabulous!!!
The ambiance is tres Sunoco Food Mart with a couple stools and a picnic table, but you can always do takeout and the food is GOOOOOOD street style authentic Mexican.
Capital Tacos up the street is awesome for FloriMexican hipster tacos and this is the place for real deal street style Mexican (including breakfast yummos until 11 a.m.).
Gorditas, milanesa style tortas on Cuban bread, enchiladas, empanadas, omelettes this is the place. Delicioso. And cheap. Check it out!
To-​go is the more practical way to enjoy this food, but hanging out is fun too and the gas station owner and the cook (when he has time to talk) are super friendly. They do get busy and word is getting out.
So ya bettah hurry in before it’s all gone. This is real deal Mexican. Viva!!!
