This was our go to neighborhood spot. Recently the service has gone down hill. I kept giving it a shot but tonight was the last straw. We won’t be going back. The service was so slow we had to get up several times to get things that we needed. The place was not even crowded. They had several waitress working so I can’t understand. The poor bartender was bartending and taking care of tables. She was way over her head busy. poor organization.

Not a place to go for a large group. The wait staff is so-so. They had to wash glasses before we could get our drinks. The owner actually said if we expected service we should have called so he could staff appropriately — and the place wasn’t really that busy to begin with. Lots of empty tables so I am guessing they aren’t used to having a lot of business other than bar. Don’t go with a party of more than 4 they can’t handle it and hopefully they won’t have more customers walk in — because if they do the owner blames the poor service on the fact that you didn’t call him to tell him you were coming.

It always seems to be hit or miss with this location. But our latest visit the food wings were great. They were out of silverware though, which seems odd to me. Our server was attentive and extremely nice. They have changed their menu slightly. So next time you are there, you should try the pretzel sticks! Delicious!

So Thursday’s are all you can drink, domestic and wells for $ 10.00. Sounds like a party but they bring you small cups and while it starts at 9:00pm, they close at 11:00pm. It’s too late to start on a Thursday if you work the next day and too short to enjoy it. I’d say start earlier, get people going, they will stay later and eat. Not the place to hang out, which is what an «all you can drink» crowd looks for.

Stay away. Service had gone downhill. Use to be one of my favorite restaurants to go. Go to the one of sunset lane. Way better staff and atmosphere.

I don’t really like to do negative review, but my lunch today was a truly dreadful affair. I ordered«The Dubliner» which is an open face roast beef and cheese sandwich served on mashed potatoes with the whole affair smothered in gravy. I received a dry version of the sandwich with a side of rice in place of the potatoes. When i protested, it was explained that the truck was late and they had no mashed potatoes. Being the reasonable sort, i can understand this, but someone really should inform the customer so they might chat their order rather than make it anyway and just assume they’ll eat what they’re given. My mate’s order was truly odd… Have you ever ordered«Fish & Chips» and received anything other than fish and fried potatoes? Her plate arrives with 3 bits of fried fish smothered in, I kid you not, TORTILLACHIPS! The waitress then tries to explain that this is the lunch version of Fish & Chips. Sending it back, we had another look at the menu to see if such an odd offering existed… it did not, but the bottom of the page with the fish and chips, was a picture of it, complete with fried potatoes and slaw. No tortilla chips in sight. Eventually a proper order of «chips» is brought out alongside the now lukewarm fish. We are promised some fresher fish is forthcoming, which turns out to be a good thing, as the tartar sauce didn’t make it with the meal and wait staff is in such short supply I had to get up and raid another table for ketchup. This is not how you operate a restaurant.

Why 4 stars? Like this location much better than the one on N. Dale Mabry. Our waitress Hayley was awesome. Genuine smile, made casual conversation and made sure we were happy with our food. She had very high standards in the quality of the food that was being brought to our table. Overall a good quick meal after some Christmas shopping. The company needs to work out some kinks on the pricing, a bit overpriced for fried frozen food, but would definitely come back for the service.

For the most part Beef O’ Brady’s doesn’t offer much for a vegetarian to enjoy. Sure they’ve got a few half-hearted attempts at salad and a grilled veggie bowl. They also have a bunch of fried foods that are meat free. Other than that, there isn’t much to choose from. For that reason, Beef O Brady’s is not my kind of place. Unless there is a social gathering happening there, I will look elsewhere for my meal. This particular visit to Beef O’ Brady’s was set up by our wonderful PTA at the end of teacher appreciation week. When we arrived some appetizer samplers had already been set out for our consumption. The only appetizer that was veggie friendly were the onion rings. Other sampler items included a meat quesadilla, meat covered nachos and some kind of chicken item. While I didn’t stick around Beef’s long enough for a main course or dessert, I did find the onion rings and their varied dips to be a pleasant surprise. I loved that their rings were nice and smooth with very little grease attached. I didn’t feel the need to constantly wipe down my hands after each ring. If you are vegetarian/vegan and a relatively healthy, I would look elsewhere. If you are in the mood for a fried food splurge or want some vegetarian junk food, stop by Beef’s. You won’t be amazed in anyway but you won’t be utterly disgusted either.

Location was newly renovated and just reopened under new management. Will never be the same without Lisa.
