Persimmons Bistro

We love Jack Bunn (owner/​chef) :) .we’re not joking!
This is a hidden gem ALL THE WAY in landrum, SC.
We ordered:
— Fried Pork Chop: OMG, I would marry this pork chop. Jack came out to ask us how our meal went and I literally told him I want his pork chop. Its perfectly fried on the outside and moist/​juicy on the inside. He does not overcook it at all. He put a red pepper sauce on the plate that my husband adored.
— Ribeye: Good but it’s a steak. As long as its cooked right (which it was) you can’t go wrong.
— Chocolate Decadence: If they have this dessert you NEED to order it. Ask Jack what wine is good w/​it and he’ll tell you its the first wine he fell in love with. I have no clue what the name is but I can tell you I have NOT had a better pairing of food and wine.
I would go back to Landrum, SC just for his pork chop, dessert and wine.
