Good diner, apparently very popular with the locals. I had a great hamburger steak smothered in brown gravy and onions, mac and cheese, and green beans that did not taste like they were dumped out of a can and heated. You go to the counter to order and pay before having a seat. If I’m not mistaken, it was Merl herself manning the counter – very pleasant lady. There was a constant stream of customers lined up at the counter the whole time we were there, but seemed to move at a good pace. From the kitchen, you could hear orders being called out. I heard wings, polish sausage, shrimp baskets, grilled fish filets, among other items called out, so they apparently have a very good variety that is enjoyed by the local citizens. Seemed to be lots of take-out traffic as well. My only criticism is that, as great as my meal was, it would have been a little better served on real plates with real flatware, rather than Styrofoam and plastic. A really great place that people miss as they make their trek to their«usual» places. Get out there and try everything, folks!

Classic meat and 3 type diner with some variety. Plenty of simple baskets with meat and fries. Salads, chicken, everything is good.
