Hein Marine Mobile Service

Greg Hein at Hein Marine is wonderful. We have an outboard that he has serviced over the last few years, and done a great job. But today, he topped it all. We had crab pots out in the sound that we needed to pick up (last day they can be in the water until Thursday), and the outboard would not go into gear. We were quite sure we were stuck, since Greg is so busy, we figured we wouldn’t get him to look for months. But my husband took the outboard there, and Greg very quickly found a clip that had slipped, had a spare off and old outboard, stuck on the new spare, and he was done! Boat was in the water in no time. We were astounded at how knowledgeable and flexible he was. Now, I assume the only reason he stopped what he was doing and helped us out is because he knows us, so don’t figure you can hope for this kind of response most of the time. But you will get someone who knows what he’s doing, and is reasonable about cost– not cheap, but reasonable.
