One of my favorite places to come… They have everything for the health nut. including Waldorf toys and crafts! I enjoy coming down here letting my kids play around in the play room all while getting some wheatgrass shots and kale chips! Love love love love love this place & the staff!

Amazing large meals + friendly service = nice local place to get a huge lunch not covered in grease We ate here after going kayaking all morning. The portions were huge and the food was great. I got a burrito and my boyfriend ate a hummus wrap. They were filled with tons of beans and yummy vegetarian goodness. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to fuel up for an active day or just fill up on yummy food.

Update: I’m feeling much less cynical about LIving Green, and have found the staff helpful and friendly.

Great organic prepared meals and other food and Cherub is a great help if you have questions. We’ve patronized Living Green since it opened over ten years ago.

NOLONGERCLOSED. Living Green has a new raw foods chef who makes the most amazing salads and desserts. O h m y g o o d n e s s. Food is not cheap, but it is not expensive for what it is. You’re paying for the good stuff. They’re full menu isn’t back yet since they closed last year. Living Green has gone through a lot of changes over the past few years. But the current state is feeling somewhat stabilized and I am happy to have a healthy and delicious vegetarian restaurant back. I especially go here when I’m under the weather and need a boost of healthy food.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! My family and I have come here for the last four years during Langley’s murder mystery and we now consider it a tradition that we look forward to. This store gets better and better every year with it’s amazing selection of naturopathic products and delicious lunch faire. We are thrilled to see that it’s back in the hands of the original owner, Cherub! Aside from all that obvious amazing stuff. the sheer positive vibe that’s inside that place is enough reason to grab a book and go hang out for a couple hours. Every time I leave that place, I find myself wishing that I lived here or wishing that I could start a place just like that. This is a definite«must see» when in Langley.(and come hungry!)

I’m in a dilemma! I’ve given too many 5 star reviews, and now I can’t make Living Green(newly reopened with both new & old owners!) stand out as much as I need it to! Wow. It’s the south end vortex… The owners, Stacey(new) and Cherub(the originator of this place!) are just outstanding, acting on their labors of love. Ayervedic expertise in the gorgeous kitchen/dining area, smiling faces of happy staff and customers… I wish I could live around the corner, and when I said that, Oriana said I wasn’t the first to ask about living there! Raw food, beautifully prepared and scrumptious is also a new feature, and a fantastic one. Closed on Sundays. Concerts sometimes. Very family friendly, a multi-age gathering place! They’ll have their liquor license soon for the night events. Come see me there!

This place is another reason why we keep coming back to Whidbey Island. One day we walked in on a whim and we are sure glad we did! Living Green has some of everything for the health conscious, all under one roof. The List: 1. Vegetarian Café 2. Juice and Smoothies, Tea 3. Vitamins and Supplements for people and pets 4. Bulk food, herbs, and spices 5. Gluten Free! 6. Aromatherapy 7. Bottled Beverages including specialty beer and wines 8. Kids play area with toys and books 9. Comfy sit down area with couches and a full wall of books and games 10. Local artwork 11. Outdoor seating/tables 12. FREEWIFI!!! Just one or two of these would be reason enough for us to keep coming back. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Normally when we go out to eat we have to explain our diet restrictions and ask a lot of questions about the food. At LG they educate us about what we can have! BTW the food is really good. Try the soups! This is a newer business and as such things are still evolving each time we visit, but so far all the changes have been for the better. Definitely better than anything we have found in Seattle.
