Taproom At Bayview Corner

Terrible! Terrible!!! My friends and I were celebrating and had a table of 9. We understand that we had a large group and we were willing to wait 10 — 15 mins. However. it very much felt that we were an inconvenience and that they didn’t want our business. We said we could sit in two different tables, and eventually pull the tables together. Once more tables were available and the crowd was winding down, we ask if we could put two tables together. Our waitress who was wonderful, told us we couldn’t due to the owners not wanting us to. Later in the evening, another crowd came in and they accommodated to them. I understand if they were unable to accommodate to us, however they did not communicate that. Please don’t got here if you want to have a good evening.

I wish I didn’t have to give this place one star. The customer service was terrible. We came in with a group of 9 and asked if we could put two tables together. The owner said that they could not put two tables together even though there were two tables that could have easily been pushed together. A few minutes later, they put two tables together for another group that came in. We were also told that they could split the bill but then they wouldn’t split the bill. The food was only mediocre. I would not recommend going to this restaurant or taking a group larger than four to this establishment.

I came with a group of girlfriends for a dinner and when we walked in it felt like we were inconveniencing them by coming in. Right off the bat we probably should have left. We awkwardly waited to be sat and we could tell they didn’t want to rearrange the tables to accommodate us. We volunteered to sit at two separate tables, even though there was plenty of room for us to sit together.
The service was SLOW, one of the servers was extremely rude and blamed her confusion about the check on one of my friends. The food was generally decent, but unfortunately the bad service we received left a really bad taste for all of us.

The food here is on point. Great lump crab cakes, tasty jicama slaw, great beer selection. The Mac and cheese was made with quality ingredients — looked like it was going to be bland but was delish. Mom-​in-​law ordered a chicken sandwich and heard no complaints there. everyone loved the slaw. Friendly service too. The only thing I didn’t like was the chocolate stout ice cream we decided to try — it was well crafted but just wasn’t my thing. can’t knock them for that.

My neighborhood go to for a great selection of beer. Wonderful ambiance and the owners really take pride in their beer selections.

They now have food! Good selection of beer. Bacon Basket and Crab Cakes are great. We went in and it was a little dead. We will have to try at a more picket time soon.

This is the type of place you hope to find that you didn’t know existed. A place that has great energy and the comfort of home. The beer selection is on point and the food is awesome. Grab a beer or cider here and you’ll be surrounded by good people and supporting a local authentic spot. Cheers to Taproom @Bayview Corner

Have been spending quite a bit of time on Whidbey Island lately and this is one of my favorite Island discoveries. From the moment you walk in and peruse the large screen HDTV display of the ever changing tap selections to the friendly staff and patrons, this place has it all if you are looking for a nice laid back place to sample a few beers or ciders and chat with the locals as well as a few main landers. Tres Gringos is right next door and since there is a half-​door connecting the restaurant and the Tap Room you don’t have to leave the Tap Room to order a selection of delicious Mexican Food. Should do a seperate review for Tres Gringos, but suffice it to say everything I have tried was excellent, even the tater tot nachos. The tap selection changes quickly which tells you that the beer isn’t going to be stale, place is always busy, be sure to get there early to get a seat if you plan on catching a Seahawks game or other local televised sporting event. The tap selection is always displayed on the middle of three HDTV’s but there are 2 more screens for sprots viewing. The owners are terrific and love to talk beer and are always interested in learning about new taps to bring in.

Great addition to the area, friendly service and comfortable atmosphere.

Nice little cozy place to grab a beer and something to please the appetite if you’re waiting on a ferry :-) also they have some great craft brews I didn’t expect! Even a few from Oregon !
