Pretty good place, convenient too. Only thing is, it’s a little pricey for no reason.

I was told that this place had great breakfast food, but I was a bit disappointed. The breakfast, personally, didn’t look appealing. The food was cold and the grits were extremely bland. Wouldn’t be my first choice for breakfast food. Pretty mediocre

Just stopped in for breakfast, better than expected. The French is delicious and eggs cooked perfectly(cooked to order). The bacon was a little flat and tasteless but other than that great all around. They also have a breakfast bar and serve lunch.

The lunch Basket has great food and is my top choice for breakfast or lunch during the work week, since it it close to my work. The food is always fresh and well made whether it is a sandwich or the hot food buffet they put out. The staff is very, very nice and goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. In a previous comment posted by Dawn R. she pointed out the difference in price between the breakfast ham and cheese and the lunch ham and cheese. She obviously did not take the time to find out why there is a difference and just posted a negative comment without any knowledge to back it up. The reason for the price difference is they are made with two kinds of ham. One is a much more expensive ham and that is why there is an increase in price. Please make sure you take the opportunity to grab some lunch or breakfast at the Lunch Basket. You will enjoy your food! Just to confirm, I am not a staff member or have any affiliation with the Lunch Basket other than being a loyal customer since I began working down the street from it a year ago.

Very nice staff. A nice walk from my job or quick drive. Great sandwiches made fresh daily. Love the tuna salad and tasty chicken salad. My co workers love the hot food they have on the bar. Never have tried it before but always looks inviting.

I am in town for a few weeks for training and I’ve stopped here for lunch a few times. The food is good and there is always a variety. HOWEVER, something happened today that will prevent me from going back ever. As I was waiting in line to order, the girl behind the counter took a cloth out of her pocket and blew/wiped her nose then put the cloth back in her pocket then **without changing her gloves** proceeded to touch the lettuce in the cold sandwich station. I spoke up and asked if she blew her nose and she pulled out her hanky and acted like it was ok to do so. I had to explain to her that she needed to change her gloves every time she needs to do that or touch her face. She treated me like I was rude for saying something. As a former chef, this is a HUGE health code violation. I was disgusted and left without ordering and will not be back.

OK, let me start by saying that I’ve been here a few times, primarily just because it’s within walking distance of my office, and it’s my contingency plan if I forgot to bring something for lunch and dont feel like getting in my car. With that said, I try to make it a point to either bring my lunch or be ready to get in my car. This place is easily missed if you’re not looking for it. It doesn’t look much like a restaurant, tucked back behind some trees, with just a small low-sitting sign pointing you into their parking lot. The interior is kind of gray and gloomy, with some hard pressed-wood booth/bench combinations to your left and up one step, hidden behind a wall so you don’t see the rest of the place while you’re eating. Honestly, it feels like you’ve been sent to the detention corner of the cafeteria… all alone, huddled back by the trash can. To the right, you have the cash register, a few other tables that actually have chairs, a salad bar, and the hot food counter where they make your food to order. I’ve never partaken of the salad bar, because honestly, nothing on it looks appealing. The sandwiches that I’ve ordered have been mediocre, definitely not worth the prices they charge for them(and just for laughs, compare the price of a ham & cheese sandwich on their breakfast menu to the one on their lunch menu… for the same sandwich!), and I’m not 100% sure my «chicken Milan» was really chicken. It certainly didn’t LOOK like any chicken I’ve ever made, I’ll just say that. Really…if you’re driving past, just keep on going a little further and hit one of the places on 450 or over by Target.
