Rapunzel’s Salon and Spa

I have not been to the new location yet, so I will only speak to the services I’ve had performed. I have gotten 2 massages at Rapunzels this past year and enjoyed both of them thoroughly. The spa waiting area was very nice and quiet. They provided water and comfortable couches to sit on. The room in which I had the massage was very serene. My masseuse asked about my preferences and made me feel very comfortable. She would ask if she was pressing too hard or if I was okay throughout. If you are expecting a top of the line spa, this isn’t the place, but for the price they do a pretty good job. They oftentimes have groupons and specials advertised on their site, and they also accept SpaFinder and SpaWish giftcards. I’ll definitely continue to go back here and can’t wait to see the new location!

My first time getting color done, ever. Antonella is fabulous. She did EXACTLY what I wanted. Will definitely be going back!

Absolutely wonderful masage. Boyfriend bought a groupon for a one hour couples massage that included aromatherapy, complimentary champagne, and a full body massage. We were with Tina ans Brita and were very happy. When you enter you go to the salon area to check in then the front desk. You are then led to the tower area of the building where you walk outside of the salon to another area to the 3^rd floor. The walk up, in my opinion, was odd but everything else was relaxing and professional. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others.

A wonderful experience. My massage with Rob was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. My body scrub and facial were relaxing and just right. The steam shower was a very nice addition. Manicure and pedicure were right on point and relaxing as well. Very nice atmosphere and everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning.

I’ve given this place a chance on several occasions and it’s always felt like an amateur job every time. Some of the reviews here are glowing, so maybe you just need to specifically ask for the right person. Or maybe it’s just not for me.

Rapunzels is the absolute best! I highly reccommend Christina. I walk out of there feeling like a million bucks everytime.

Five stars to Andrea’s foot massage! I have been to many spas in my life and find that often the pedicure foot massage is disappointing. But Andrea has consistently given me excellent foot massages, as well as hand massage during manicure. The salon itself is not what I pictured based on website. It’s actually less than clean in some areas (like behind one of the pedicure chairs; just happened to see as I was picking up my bag to leave and was grossed out), but I’ve never had facial or massage there, so those rooms may be immaculate; don’t know. But the pedicure massage with Andrea will keep me coming back.

I really only go for a Brazilian, and have had my hair cut here once (Tina moved to another salon and I followed her there because she’s wonderful and I have terrible luck with finding great stylists). I love this place! It’s pretty big inside with a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. Everyone is so helpful and kind. I see Nancy and she’s FABULOUS. Friendly and just wonderful! She’s really thorough — not one hair left behind. And the price is at least $ 20 cheaper than other places I’ve been to, with waaay better service. I’m dying to try their other services.

Everyone was extremely nice here! Came here for a wax, mani, and express pedi. There’s parking in the back of the building. Prices are a little high but I had a few gift cards so that really helped me. Place is really big inside.

Rapunzel’s looks small from the outside… but it’s actually pretty huge! The salon goes pretty far back when you go inside. Anyway, I had a regular mani and express pedi done a couple days ago with a friend. In my opinion, $ 52 is a bit steep for a basic mani/​pedi. Luckily, I printed a coupon from their website for 15% off any nail service for new clients which made it slightly more affordable. Roxi did my nails and she was really great… she was friendly and good at what she did. The salon had a good selection of colors to choose from and I like that they use Seche Vite top coat which helps mani’s and pedi’s last longer. Unfortunately, although I love how my nails turned out, I probably would not return because I can get the same quality service at another salon for less $. But it’s worth a try as a new client!

I was a fan of this place until today. I questioned my bill because of the price and found out, depending on who you have, you get charged for whatever they feel like charging you for. Today they decided to charge me for a blow dry and a bang trim even though every single time I come in I get the same thing done and they pick and choose when they want to charge me for it. It’s ridiculously inconsistent and unless you ask for everything they’re charging you for that day, expect to be surprised at check out. I will say however, anyone who has ever done my hair is wonderful!

I purchased a couple’s massage voucher on Groupon for my boyfriend and I as a gift. There was a male and female massage therapist. They were prompt with timing and very considerate of my boyfriend being so ticklish. I felt very comfortable the entire time. We will definitely be back for some more relaxation in the near future!

Ive been to this salon before about 3 years ago. Joanne did my hair, she gave me caramel highlights, and it was beautifullllll! I love it soo much it was peek a boo highlight…
This is my first time in 3 years that I had stepped foot back in this salon. and it was just as beautiful as I remembered…
My boyfriend and I walked through the door to walk to the receptionist and immediately we were greeted by Sam (who blow dried my hair) & another stylist, it was very pleasant and warm. The receptionist was very nice, and took me to a waiting room, so I can change into a smock. After I changed, I waited for Jess, not too long, about 10 minutes, I didnt mind waiting 10 mins… after she was done her little break, she came up to me and greeted me, and we had a little consultation…
Off the bat I know getting my hair colored at rapunzel would be alittle bit more than my budget so then I ask approximately how much if I did a double process with bleach. she broke it down to be very clearly. It was out of my budget, so I asked her what would be an alternative option… she said she would have to do partial highlights, bleach my hair then glaze it which the price was still high but I had enough for that and tip. so we went with that…
I showed her a picture of what color I had in mind… and she did such an amazing job on the color… at first I was scared to let anyone else touch my hair because I had a bad experience at another salon… but I went with my gut instinct and I trusted her…
We did not talk much, but that was okay. after she bleached my hair and glazed it… Sam blow dried my hair, she was very friendly! The blow drying was okay, only because I was in a rush!
***the whole time jess was coloring my hair I did not have my glasses on… basically I was blind****
Finally after the blow drying and styling the red was EXACTLY how I wanted it. its vibrant, yet subtle. she knows what she’s doing! Its very hard to find a very good stylist nowadays, since everyone wanna half ass their jobs… but off the bat I can tell jess was gonna make my hair look beautiful, since she had purple hair which was awesome! So I trusted her. my hair turned out amazingly, the service was great, friendly staff, and a beautiful salon!
I definitely will return more frequently to Jess! From now on she’s going to color my hair!
On top of that I LOVEEEE the name of the salon

Justine came for me, as soon as I sat (sweet), and we had a whirlwind time together! She’s just like one of your old friends from home…
Easy to talk too, super sweet, and on top of that… Does GREAT hair!
I asked for a pixie cut (super short) and we talked and talked as she cut, and I got a really cute pixie!
Just what I wanted…
I’ll definitely go back, as it doesn’t get any easier than this…
Oh, by the by… She was recommended to me by family and friends as well…

I am almost afraid to write this review, as it might draw more attention to the salon and make it harder for me to make an appointment!
Don’t be fooled by the modest exterior, this little gem has a great atmosphere, friendly staff (including the receptionist — which many of us know can be difficult to find lately) and knowledgeable stylists.
I have been to this place twice in the past two months, because I have been so pleased with the experience. When walking in, you walk past all of the work stations to approach the receptionist desk, where you are immediately greeted with a smile and service. You are then personally lead to a seating area to wait (but service is so quick you barely have to wait at all) and are asked if you would like a beverage. The hair washing stations are comfortable and private, and the products (I believe they are using UNITE which I have not heard of, but am pleased with how soft and shiny it makes my hair) are of high quality.
The salon is clean, very clean, and everyone here cares about the quality of service and overall appearance at all times.
The stylist I LOVE is a junior stylist named Antonella, and she is AMAZING. She listens to what you want, and can give you EXACTLY what you ask for.
While I have yet to get color here, I am pleased with the cut, blow-​dry and style I have received. I will be returning to this salon, and becoming a regular for Antonella, and hope that you have as great of an experience as I have had!

I had a massage, manicure and pedicure here. The place is quite quirky which I like. I had a massage with Sandy and she was great. She gave me clear instructions and asked me my preferences. I didn’t sleep for the massage, but I was relaxed. She worked out my kinks and I was happy as a noddle after. I believe Roxy did my mani and pedi. She was slightly abrasive but fun and did a great job with my nails. She gave tips and I left feeling great.
I’m not sure if there was much to make this spa stand out, but it was certainly a great day.

I like this place. It the best place I’ve ever visited but it’s near the top. Yes its large and older but the service is good. Everyone I’ve come in contact with has been friendly. Christina gave a very nice haircut (listened, layered right) for a great price for this area.
I’ve also gone to Rapunzel’s for a massage from Andrea. She did a great job. The room was comfy but I do wish they would spring for the plush robes and a little more plushness to the table linens. Though they had far more than the typical thin sheet that you’ll find at a lot of places in Lansdale.
Overall, both time’s that I’ve been to Rapunzel’s I’ve had good experiences and walked away pleased.
If your thinking about trying them out they often have coupons or even do groupons.

I won a free 90 minute massage and went during Thanksgiving week. I got my massage in a room with 2 tables. The masseuse did a nice job. I found myself asleep and waking up to my loud snoring.
When I get a massage, i like peace and quiet. I’m not saying it’s loud, but when other patrons were leaving their massage, i could hear them talk and it affected my silent bliss.
The have a parking lot and the staff was friendly. Would I go back for a massage? I’m not sure. So I guess it was ok, but not good enough for me to come back.

I took my wife here for her bday for a couples’ massage. Personally, I don’t like massages, but I went for my wife and I came away with a very positive experience.
The staff is not only very skilled, but they are easy to talk to and their personalities really make it a positive experience!
