The WashStop Laundry

My family is moving into a new house and the wqs5her and dryer are still at the old house. Getting straight to the point, I found a condom in the ‘soap insert’ section of the machine. I was DISGUSTED. I informed the attendants and one of them acted as if I were speaking a foreign language (She was rude once I walked in so I guess this is just her personality). The other attendant was much nicer. She stopped the machine immediately, transfered my items to another machine and started the wash. She went back to the original machine and pulled out a tied condom. She said this had never happened before and disposed of it.
At the end of this wash, the nice attendant refunded whatever money I had left on the card and the card deposit. I was still bothered by the whole ordeal so I made an hour drive to re-​wash my clothes at the old house. I will most likely never return to this location. However, I do appreciate the one attendant who took the time out to help and apologize.

Their pricing was great and my laundry was ready when they said it would be. Everything was nicely folded and packed.

The nicest laundromat in the area! The workers are great and the machines are always clean and in working order. It might cost a little bit more, but it’s definitely worth it. If there’s ever an issue, they fix it immediately. I highly recommend!

I used to work here. So I know all of the dirty little secrets ;-) The owner, Barrett Vandame is one of the best, kind hearted, Christian men I have met. He has his personal number on the door for anyone to call if there’s any problems. The man is a saint. The machines are cleaned daily and so are lint traps. There’s water, Iced tea, and snacks in the office. Water is a regular sized bottle for .50 cents tea is a huge bottle for 1 $ or a huge water for1 $. There’s always someone there to help with anything. There’s a card yes but it isn’t meant to rip you off. Honestly you get the 2 $ back when you return the card. Also you get 1 $ free on your card for every 20 $you use, .50 cents for $ 10. It’s so convenient for frequent washers. If your a one time laundromat user you can borrow the attendants card, she/​he can start the machine for you. When your done you pay, no need to purchase a card if you don’t want to. If you forget your soap you can purchase some there. Kid friendly, he has a little, out of the way, almost closed off area for kids. There’s a tv, the attendant can put movies on, theres also toys magazines, free wifi, the attendant can give you a password. Theres 2 tvs with remotes available for customers. Many chairs to sit and carts for clothes. Stations for folding. THE LAUNDROMAT IS QUATER FRIENDLY, you can take your change and give it to the attendant for cash. The cards are fast and easy. I wash my clothes there every sunday. The laundromat is on a shopping center next to a chinese restaurant, blue dog pub, cvs, and more. The place is kept very clean, restrooms are stocked and clean. If you find something unacceptable call barrett, he’s friendly and wants to please customers. Give this place a try, there’s tons of parking, quiet environment and friendly attendants.

I don’t frequent Laundromats often, but my girlfriend has used this one before and we needed to wash some sleeping bags. I thought it was well laid out, clean and easy to use. I definitely like the cards you can put money on to use rather than filling your pockets with quarters you’ve been saving, so that makes it a much better experience. Friendly guy sitting behind the counter, plenty of TV’s to watch and there are some good restaurants in the strip mall there if you want to grab a bite while waiting for your laundry to dry. So the key things here are easy, clean and well maintained.

What a hidden gem, only it’s right out in the open! My dryer is down so I dreadfully searched for a laudermat. Wow, things have really changed since I used them regularly. This place is clean, well-​run, pleasant and my laundry was done quickly. The machines are very good quality, with various sizes to meet your needs. There are comfortable chairs, two large screen tv’s not blaring, a small area for children to play out of the path of customers maneuvering laundry, plenty of carts and counter space. The attendents are great, wiping machines constantly after use, helping customers and they loan a card if you are not going to be a regular customer. You still pay for the laundery time, but that’s all. It’s located on the end of a strip mall so you can pull up to the curb to load and unload, but parking spots are very close. Things went so fast I never got to use Wi-​Fi, but it’s there. This is the model for a laundermat business!

You have to buy a card, no coins. Cash only, they don’t take credit cards.

I’ve been on a mission to find a local laundromat that I don’t cringe at the thought of going to. This is the 5^th place that I’ve checked out so far and definitely the best. At first I wasn’t too thrilled about having to spend $ 2 on a reloadable card and then add value to it, but then I thought about how much of a pain it is to get $ 20 worth of quarters every time I do laundry. It’s also a lot faster to get your laundry going when you just have to stick the card in for a second as opposed to feeding in numerous quarters.
The biggest plus to me about this place is that the Blue Dog Pub is only a few doors down. They have an excellent selection of import and microbrew bottles to go. It also appears that they have a great variety of beers on tap. I’m looking forward to checking out their food next time. What a good way to spend your time while the washers or dryers are going!
The biggest minus about my trip is that my 800 thread count luxury sheet set came out really discolored. I’m very upset about this. Perhaps the last person to use that washer had used bleach? Not sure how to prevent this in the future and don’t think that I can really blame the laundromat for this.

Uses cards instead of quarters. When the card is empty return it for your deposit back. TV and free wireless on site to keep you entertained and productive. Rather do wash here than other places.

Ended up here because my GPS was goodly enough to find it for me when another local laundromat was closing earlier than I had anticipated (or ever heard of!). Seems like they are a clean place with fairly decent machines, and they are open until 10pm so that works. Was a little irritated that I had to spend $ 2 to get an electronic card to use for the machines (no quarters here!). Its not the money, just the principle that I had to spend $ 2 to get a blank card (the $ 2 is gone) that I then had to add money to just to get started. But with the lack of laundromats in the area, this will do… for now.
