GREAT gyros. Super friendly staff. I had a very short wait for a take out order and enjoyed the gyros very much.

Really love their food and service. Wish my husband liked greek food so we could dine in, but takeout is always great!

My favorite is the Greek salad so fresh full of cucumbers ripe tomatoes with the delicate touch of olive oil and the cheese oh my God it is so good! It’s located within 100 yards of the Lansdale septa regional line station there’s ample parking at the rear I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This was our first time trying Greek food. We wanted to go somewhere authentic. We drove further then normally for this restaurant and it really held up to the reviews. The first dish that blew me away was the roasted peppers stuffed with Greek cheese. That is a must when you stop in! Priced low with big portions. 5 stars in my book. Nothing to complain about

Yanni’s is hands-down my favorite restaurant in town. It isn’t particularly fancy but the food has always been excellent, with very generous portions. I would highly recommend the grilled octopus(or the cold appetizer platter if you aren’t feeling that bold) and the«pie» sampler. I can’t remember what the latter is called but it’s huge slices of spanakopita, moussaka, pastitsio and a stuffed tomato. The only negative thing I can point to is that there is often a little bit of a wait, it’s never been unreasonable though. It seems that there is only ever one server working with two folks in the back prepping the food. Chances are that the server is Emily, she is the sweetest and very attentive(as much as she can be with 8+ tables!). Another thing that I’ve noticed is that often there will be this dour man sitting at one of the tables, reading the paper or whatever and drinking coffee. I’m pretty sure that he’s the manager/owner. It always pisses me off to see the staff busting their asses taking orders and running food out while folks are lined up for takeout orders while management doesn’t lift a finger. True, that isn’t really a reflection of the dining experience or the food, but irritating to me nonetheless. Still, check this place out!

Amazing. The five stars is for the food. OMG it’s delicious! Would never stop(or see) this tiny storefront on the main street of Lansdale, but a friend found it on Unilocal and went and loved it. We went and got take-out. Spanakopita the best I’ve ever had. Such freshness and flavors! Gyro also amazing. Other items also wonderful. The restaurant itself is quaint, looked clean, staff was friendly. Atmosphere nothing special. But the food was so good it is beckoning us back for more!

Not just gyros! In fact, when we walked in late(8:45 ish) on a Wednesday night we did not even order Gyros. The Avgolemono soup(one of my favorite soups of all time) was good and the Horiatiki Salad was fresh and fabulous. It reminded me of the Horiatiki at Kanella(Cypriot) in Center City and that is a GOODTHING. Service with a smile was stellar and the pastitsio and stuffed eggplant(with bechamel, baby!) were very filling but also very, very well made. Classics. Décor could use a refresh(thus no 5th star). Also front entrance is NOT compliant for elderly/physically challenged. Just like Ya ya would have wanted it. Can’t wait to return.

The chicken gyros, lamb gyros, lemon potatoes, Greek yogurt with honey and spanikopitas were delicious! The yogurt needed a lot of honey if you’re not used to the strong Greek yogurt. Servers were nice and service was quick.

I’ve been here multiple times and it’s become my favorite gyro place. I usually get the lamb gyro but I’ve recently gotten the grilled fish. It’s so delicious! I usually call in advance for the fish since it takes a little longer to make. It comes with homemade chips and thicker pita bread. Other places use the thin bread which I don’t prefer. The service is great and the lady is so nice.

The girls and I are here for the first time. They both got the Pita Gyros Sandwich. Kristen thought it was really good. 0 — 10 she graded it a 9 and would definitely come back. Kelley says she liked it and give it a 8.75 out of 10 and would definitely come back. I had the Beef & Lamb Gyro Platter. I absolutely love it. It was so filling and half left over. Such a generous portion. The Tzatziki sauce was spot on along with the meat. The salad was so fresh and crisp. I will definitely be coming back. The Greek Coffee(on my second cup) I will be craving for quite some time. I would trade that for traditional coffee any time. We are all very pleased reviewing this little treasure of a place on the main stretch of Lansdale. Dessert was Baklava and it was pure perfection. The layers the warmth of the syrup throughout as if fresh. We all give it 2 thumbs up. Only downfall… our drinks could of come out a bit faster.

Stopped in with family and friends for a Sat lunch and got right in. It wasn’t crowded at all. We mostly ordered gyros and derivatives thereof, and everyone was very happy with the food! The portion sizes were big enough to take leftovers home too, which is pretty great for $ 7. The marinara sauce that came with the calamari was a little ketchupy or something, I wasn’t a fan, but it didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the calamari, which was big, tender and fresh. The service was super slow, but our waitress was pleasant and we were relaxed and chatting so it wasn’t a huge deal. I’d be happy to arrange a get together at Yanni’s again in the future!

I like Yannis’ lunch special. I usually get the gyro sandwich or gyro platter. I have never been disappointed by the food. The location is convenient, right in the heart of lansdale by Wells Fargo, the post office, and the train station. I have had a few experiences with the restaurant staff, they have always been friendly and personable. One time I ordered the stuffed tomatoes, they were excellent. The eating area is pretty basic, rows of table in a moderate space. If you like Greek food or want to give it a try, this is a great place to go.

Oh wow… just left Yanni’s and boy am I STUFFED! The man and I went to meet my mother and her fiancée at this little gem right in the heart of Lansdale at their insistence and I am so glad that we did! To preface the review, the man and I were in Greece a few months ago and one of our favorite aspects of our Grecian experience was the food so we came with some pretty high expectations. That being said, they were not only met, but exceeded. True to our experience in Greece, the service was outstanding — genuinely warm and congenial. Emily was our server and she was just so very awesome. Luckily for you, she seems to be there the majority of the time. Now on to the food… We started with the gigantes hot app and the Greek salad. I had never had(or heard of) gigantes but basically they are oversized beans in a red sauce. Sounds so simple but I can’t possibly overstate just how delicious they were! If you are a lover of legumes, do NOT pass these up. The salad was also very good and it was chopped, which I definitely appreciate. Nothing more annoying than lettuce chunks hanging out of your mouth like a ravenous iguana in public. But I digress… We ordered waaaaay more food than was necessary for 4 people to share. But that’s what I do because when it comes to decision time and there’s so many scrumptious options in front of me, I err on the side of gluttony and order them all. Who doesn’t like leftovers anyway? We shared the mousaka, two gyros, stuffed tomatoes, pastitsio, spanakopita and the beefteki stuffed with cheese. OH. EMM. GEE. Soooo freaking good, everything! If you are local and haven’t been here, shame on you. If you are a chow hound and haven’t been here, go! It’s well worth the drive. Did I also mention that this is a BYOB?

I was super excited to try this place and I was very happy I did. We wandered in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the service was excellent and the place is very clean! Food: We ordered the hummus, which I must say is the best hummus I’ve had! I could eat this all day! We also had the gyro sandwich(there is a platter option as well– that comes with sides). Everything was very fresh. Service: our waitress was very friendly and took our order right away. She was happy to answer any questions and offered suggestions since this was our first visit. She checked on us and refilled our drinks as needed. Environment: the place is very cute and clean. We were the only ones in there at the time, but many stopped in to pick up ‘to go’ orders. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for excellent hummus or gyros. I will be back to try more from their menu.

Authentic Greek food with unique and delectable favors! I’m a fan of yannis, good lunch specials and healthy helpings of food to fill up a platter. Friendly people who greet you as soon as you come in, excellent service prompt and swift. Great environment with Greek music going, this place is always busy so your food is fresh. I will definitely reccomend Yanni’s to anyone looking for some tasty lunch or who wants the most bang for their buck and don’t have to sacrifice on flavor.

Delicious food served with warm and friendly service. The food is fresh and very well seasoned. The philo dough pastry filled with feta cheese is absolutely the best I have ever had. They have an eggplant salad with red peppers that you must try. The prices are very reasonable. Great place for the family.

I recently fell in love with mediterranean food and was thoroughly surprised to find a place like Yanni’s in Lansdale! The service here is super friendly & fantastic and the food is absolutely delicious. I’ve been here twice so far and have yet to be disappointed. So far we’ve had the eggplant salad & tzatziki as appetizers and the gyro platter, pastitsio, spanakopita platter and the chef’s special salmon as entrees. I highly recommend all of these dishes… if you haven’t indulged in lemon potatoes before, I highly recommend them here! I never had lemon potatoes before visiting Yanni’s and my taste buds exploded the first time I tried them! I definitely look forward to coming back for many more meals!
