I love Acropolis! Great local take out spot. The pizza is ok, but not the best thing on the menu. They make a great cheesesteak and gyros! There specialty hoagies are also great! Always fresh. Quick service, nice employees!

Last night my parents and I tried this pizza place in my quest to find the best local restaurants. It was awesome! They were busy when I called (which I took to be a good sign) but gave a 20 minute estimate for our order of two pizzas and one of their specialty sandwiches. We got there just about 20 minutes later and it was ready as promised, but definitely hadn’t been sitting long. The prices are very reasonable and the people were really nice. Will definitely be making this place a go to for nights I’m too lazy to cook!

This is by far the best Greek style pizza around, and in my opinion the best pizza in the area. I have been a customer for more than 10 years and I can honestly say I have never had a bad pizza from here. I am not the biggest fan of their choices on their menu besides the pizza, but the pizza is so damn good this easily earned a 5 star rating. I would recommend the upside down, it’s tangy and sweet sauce is the best I have ever had on an upside down pizza.

Tastes like Pizza Hut dough. Could have been a bit crispier but the delivery guy and the person taking the order were great. Looks like we will continue our search for the best pizza in the Drexel hill area.

Food is average but these guys who work here are very courteous and professional. And they are very prompt when it comes to delivery.

If you like Pizza Hut this place’s pizza is much better! My family and I ordered from this place twice this weekend. Everything is superb! Make sure you try their cheesesteak egg rolls they’re great!

Best pizza in the area. The crust is delicious and cooked really well. The upside down pizza is especially good. The pepperoni pizza rolls are also really yummy. There isn’t a parking lot, but there are plenty of street spots. It’s definitely a star in Lansdowne.

We tried their mushroom and cheese pizza for the first time last night. We usually get pizza at Cocco’s in Drexel Hill, but we’ve been interested in trying Acropolis. Like others have reviewed: the guy taking the order and the guy who delivered the pizza were very friendly. The pizza was delivered quickly. While I think we decided we liked Cocco’s pizza better, we did enjoy Acropolis. The dough tasted a bit yeastier than we might appreciate, but it was still quite delicious. And, I thought the crust around the edge was actually quite tasty.
They have a rather large menu. There is an eggplant pizza which we will have to try. I haven’t seen eggplant as an option in other local to Drexel Hill pizza places.

I’m so glad they sent us a menu, we’ve been hooked ever since. The pizza is great and I’m from NY, and the staff very friendly. Great delivery guys too!
I’m stuck on their pizza and wings but am hoping to try their other options soon.

Acropolis is the best pizzeria I have ever eaten at. They are amazing, however, please do not order the burger. It tastes like crap. You can tell that it has been frozen for a while. This is the reason for the 4 stars, otherwise it would have been 5. Everything else I have eaten from acropolis has been amazing. I order from them 2 – 3 times a week and will not stop until I gain 35 pounds. Then I will go on a diet, lose those 35 pounds, then begin eating from acropolis again. I sincerely hope that my review will allow you to taste the amazingness that is acropolis. Thank you and have a good one.

Okay, i wish i knew this place existed sooner. by far the best pizzeria in Delco. I’ve tried their cheese steaks, which are pretty decent, i def would order again. I love their ranch turkey wrap, so fresh and a nice sized portion. I absolutely love their chicken cordon blue bites and southwest chicken rolls, amazing! So far i am pleased and cannot wait to try other things on their menu.

Best pizza I’m able to get delivered to my home in Lansdowne, hands down! Given the name, I’m so glad I tried some of the Greek specialties on their menu. The «Zorba’s delight» hoagie is delicious, as are the Greek salad and pizza with feta, tomatoes, spinach, and olives. Yum! Fast delivery and excellent crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside pizza crust. Enjoy!

I decided to give this place a try as I was in the area and needed pizza. So let me tell you this stuff was in my top tier for greasy pizzas. Unless it was an anomaly this place is worthy trying and eating at (at least for the pizza). I will most certainly give this place another try.

I have been going to Acropolis for a long time now. I live in Tampa now but when I come home this is the first place I go. They were named best pizza in Philly last year and their cheese stakes can compete with any sandwich or hoagie you have ever had. I have traveled far and wide in search of the best cheese stake and I keep coming back to this one. This is were the bar is set for me, all others have to compete with Acropolis. Personal favorite is the pepperoni pizza stake, do your self a favor and order one.

I tried their Italian sausage stromboli. It was the perfect blend of sauce, spices and meat all wrapped in great tasting crust/​dough/​whateverwrapsastromboliiscalled.
My only suggestion is that the owners decide if they’re in Drexel Hill or Lansdowne, cause all the GPS and online maps say their store is in Lansdowne.
