These landlords have been nothing but trouble from the start, Jeff and Sue Grant – a couple of Blue Collar Rednecks, never warned me about the lead paint until the packed minivan was parked outside the apartment. Then, they made me sign an ‘Automatic Withdrawal Form’ for rent that I was very unhappy about (but I needed to move in – what was I to do?) So a week later I sent them an e-​mail notifying them that they were not to make an automatic withdrawal. Meanwhile I had prepared a money order to send them and sure enough – they automatically withdrawal the money from my account putting me in a large deficit (as I had been paying bills and every bill I made was given an overdraft fee totaling over $ 200 in fees!!!) instead of being understanding, they demanded an ADDITIONAL $ 250 dollars in order to deposit the money back into the account so that my bank could fix the whole mess. The entire time I am trying to work this out Jeff Grant is assuring me that he is «my landlord, not my friend.» Furthermore, the house sets off my and my friends’ allergies, so I suspect mold spores in the house, and there have been squirrels running through my ceiling waking me up at all hours of the night. This has not at all been a pleasant experience. I would not recommend these landlords or this service to anyone… ever.
