Action Discount

I went with a friend to Action Discount to look for some tools. We were the only ones in the store looking to buy (there was a lady selling some items). We were asked by the owner (older gentleman) if we needed any help finding anything. When we told him what we were looking for he said he had some in the back, but that it was too much trouble to get it. What type of salesman says it is too much trouble to grab a tool from the back when no one is in the store??? I then asked if he had another item I looked at the week before and he said yes, then proceeded quote me a higher price than he did the week before. I called him on it and he was not willing to honor the earlier quote. Again a poor sales move since it is nearing the end of the season for the usefulness of said tool. I’d much rather go to Dicker & Deal (209 S Mechanic St) a block away were they are happy to do business with you.

if you are looking for something and can’t find it… check the d. they have everything. i mean EVERYTHING! hell, i have action d to thank for 3 copies of Mr. Baseball (all on VHS).
It is a family owned business and it is absolutely enjoyable everytime you step foot in there. They are extremely knowledgeable about their products and if there is anything wrong with anything you buy, they will gladly fix it or replace it.
