Allen Waterford

I only write reviews when I am either REALLY happy about the services provided or REALLY unhappy. Unfortunately, I was very unhappy about the services provided. If I had read others negative reviews BEFORE I had signed the contract with Allen, I would have never worked with him to begin with. I hope that my review will keep others from having the same experience.
Day of wedding— He was EXTREMELY pushy the entire day and made me feel very rushed and anxious. The VERY first shot he took of me and my bridesmaids, he asked us to show some skin for a «sexy pose» in our robes. some of us girls tried to laugh it off and he became very snappy that we weren’t taking it seriously.
Throughout the day, he made at LEAST 5 «jokes» to the wedding party about running out of film. I can take a joke, but after so many times it gets really old. Plus, that is the last thing a bride needs to hear.
At the end of the day, Allen never came up to me telling me he was leaving. At this point, I could have cared less.

I echo the statements of Pete D. This guy is horribly unprofessional. He had members of the bridal party in tears at a wedding I attended. Threats of not providing the photos after the wedding… so much so that a considerable amount of time had to pass before I felt comfortable writing this review. Intense regret is the only thing you’ll feel if you use this guy for your wedding. Stay away. And thank me later.

Beware this is NOT a person that you can trust. He has other complaints look for yourself. Please be careful read every line on the contract and understand what your signing and ALL of the consequences of your document. Review BBB and all the online services to fully understand and know the person that your hiring for this very special day. You can’t do it over so do it right the first time.

It’s surprising to read so many positive reviews of Mr. Waterford’s work. At the joining of our families, he was such a prima dona, difficult, and moody. He was snippy with all of us when taking pictures before and after the ceremony; at the reception he threatened to give the money back and keep the pictures; and several weeks later, he sent a selection of unimaginative photos that were mediocre at best. I could have done as well myself, and I’m no photographer. There were no pictures of our children with their grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc. It’s so sad. Of all the events of that day, Mr. Waterford was the one bad memory, or series of memories. So sad that the photographer who is so highly acclaimed by so many turned out to be such a disappointment in all regards. He owes our families an apology at the very least and a full refund and apology at most.
