I’m a big fan of libraries, this one in particular. I’ve borrowed books, comics, DVDs, and internet access from time to time. I take my kids here for the same, as well as for the trains, the occasional puppet show, and the checkers. This library is awesome enough that my kids would rather go here than the mall. CADL, you are awesome.

excellent library they have most all books videos and audio you could want… they have 40 computers upstairs and with your library card you can use the internet for 3 hours… there are also 5 computers downstairs that need no card but you must get a slip from the desk and are only allowed 15 minutes per day …

I love CADL! This chain of libraries serving the Lansing area is great. I take my kids for the activities or just to play and they love it. I enjoy knowing I can get any book I want through MEL and I love getting e-books for me and the kids. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

This is an EXCELLENT library! They have lots of community programs, and a huge selection of resources from many different media. Whether you are a parent looking for a fun(yes, FUN!) place for your child to go during the summer, or a student writing a major paper, or just your average patron looking for a good book or CD… you will love it here. They have a lovely little garden that hardly anyone knows about, and that’s a perfect place to go read. So too is the shady park just across the street. They have basement book sales where you can get great books for under a dollar. There are no late fees on books, and it doesn’t cost anything to take out a CD or DVD. The late fees on other media are minimal. And, since it is located right downtown, it is in a very handy location. It is just a block away from Cooley Law school, and on the same block as the main CATA bus station. If you’re in Lansing, you simply must visit the Clarence H. Rosa Library!
