Dispatch Sports Pub & Grill

I’ve been waiting 30 minutes for an appetizer and drink… after waiting 20 minutes for a menu. All the confusion seems to be centered around a tatted female bartender with a poor attitude and complete neglect for the basics in customer service. The servers were sweet, though seemingly afraid to enter drink orders with the previously mentioned bar tender.

Bad service. So so food. Son had tacos. 10% meat. The rest was lettuce and cheese. Fish and chips greasy and bland. Most boring fries I think I’ve ever had

Food is great and priced to help the wallet. Staff is very friendly. Fun atmosphere like a dive bar but extremely clean.

Good pizza and appetizers. Very friendly service. The place is really low key, looks dirty along with old menus but if you go with lots of friends and play pull tabs or lottery you’ll be fine.

I can honestly say this is the only place I feel comfortable ordering anything off the menu from. I am usually that person who will only order a burger from places like this because it’s pretty hard to mess up a burger, so I like to stay safe. I can’t even list everything I’ve tried from here and everything has been delicious! Very friendly staff too

I visited the Dispatch this past Saturday. It’s very big inside and there is lots of seating divided by different sections of the restaurant. As far as I could tell, there’s louder, quieter, and the outdoor patio. I went with a group of 7 people to the louder area. It’s dimly lit, and there are lots of TV’s.
I found it peculiar that they didn’t have a drink menu; perhaps, because of its location, most of its patrons are regulars who know what they want. Their beers are limited to a standard selection plus Killian’s, some Sierra Nevada beer, and an Oberon-​ish (but not Oberon) beer. I assume they change the tap periodically.
The specials they had that day were a steak meal for two, BBQ ribs and fries, prime rib and shrimp, and the «Spartan» burger. I ordered the prime rib and shrimp. The steak was good. I ordered it medium rare, but it was closer to medium. The gristle was mostly soft rather than chewy, and the meat itself was not overseasoned or bland. The shrimp was butterflied, crusted, and fried, but it was only 4 fair-​sized pieces. They were great, but I wanted more.
Service was very good. Our waitress was prompt, knowledgeable, and made no issue with any substitutions, as a few of us opted for beer-​battered fries rather than standard french fries.
I had some of the ribs. They were smothered with sauce, which was tangy but not overwhelming. The meat fell off the bone easily, and wasn’t too dry; I would guess that they were boiled before being grilled.
I think that Dispatch is a versatile place, suitable for friends or for a date. Next time I suspect I will try at least their pizza and dessert, and perhaps a cocktail.

Kind of a dive bar that’s not really near anything, but they have fantastic pizza.
