BEWARE! BAD BUSINESS! Do not let them work on anything for you. If you want satisfaction service, this is not the place.
I called to have a leaky pipe fixed in my bathroom. The Plumber not only put a crack in our tub when he came to fix it but he also broke the stopper. (the plug that keeps the water from draining) Like really?
Not only that but when I spoke with the receptionist, who set up the appointment for me to have a plumber come out, she told me that the service charge would be waived. I asked her like 3 times and she said yes each time.
Please tell me why when the plumber wrote out the paper work he called himself charging us anyway? My husband was actually gonna pay him the service charge plus whatever extra, had he came and done the job right. BUT not only did he not do it right, he made an extra expense for us.
This business is VERY SHADY might I mention, as well. On my paper work it says that I called about a crack. We didn’t have a crack in our tub until the plumber came and worked on it. THAT IS NOT WHAT I CALLED FOR! People always trying to get over. (smh) I would NEVER refer this company to anybody and if you are smart you would stay away from them too. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!
& this is an update: A Day after the plumber put a crack in our tub and broke the stopper, my husband decides that he’d look on the internet and find a video on how to fix it.(which he could have done from get-​go) but thought a plumber would know better than he did. HA! Sending a plumber from this company was a joke. My husband fixed it all! (in less time than the plumber who couldn’t fix it at all) SMH (This has got to be the worst plumbing business in town.)

If paying 5−6X the going rate is your goal, this is the company for you!

We called Fedewa after reading reviews on Unilocal.Our well water pressure tank was leaking. It was a Sunday, and we asked about the price for a Sunday call. Since we are cheap and could make due with waiting a day, we opted to wait until Monday morning and just shut our water off.
Aaron was out first thing Monday morning, and what could reasonably have taken a couple of days to fix, he came right in, knew exactly the problem and set to fixing it. Our particular pump is not typical, and instead of just putting in one that would do, Aaron made sure we had the pump that would meet our needs. He explained everything thoroughly to us, and exactly the costs involved, and a few hours later, we were back in civilization with running water again.
Fedewa Plumbing is phenomenal for reliability and trustworthiness. They may not be the cheapest in town, but they definitely aren’t the most expensive. If you are looking for a quick bandaid fix that you are going to have to keep calling over and over for the same problem, don’t call them. They’re going to fix it right the first time with quality workmanship, products and honesty. We will definitely be calling them again for any other plumbing related problems. For the first time, I can recommend to people to «call my plumber»!

Called them on a Sunday. Had a bad clog and flood on my lower level. Technician arrive 45 minutes after I called. He was very nice, explained the situation and was very up front about all costs. Highly recommended and would use again

Poor business model.
I simply wanted a quote to run an auger through an established drain line. The CSR over the phone said it’s $ 49 to send the tech out and then they will give you a quote at that time. Essentially, I eat a $ 49 risk and then if I don’t like the quote, tough luck. I asked what the normal cost for running an auger would be in their experience. The reply, «I don’t know, you’ll have to pay $ 49 for the tech to come out to tell you that.»
No thanks.

I use this company twice. The first time I just had a loosefitting on the bottom of my tub in my crawlspace. He came out and charged me modestly to fix it. I know there’s a lot of room for plumbers to be dishonest and this was occasion where he could have been.
The second time I needed to have one of my sewage lines dug up and replaced. After diagnosing that as a problem, he gave me an estimate of what the work would be. I told him that would be fine. He came out with a machine to dig up the line. It took less time than he anticipated and although the pipe was broken and need to be replaced it was a little shorter than he had originally estimated. He then charge me only according to the work that was done. Once again he had the ability to overcharge me. I would always recommend an honest plumber.

I lived in East Lansing for over ten years and have dealt with most of the plumbing companies around and these are the first plumbers that have actually done a great job, showed up on time and to my surprise where reasonably priced.
AJ The plumber that came to my house explained each of the options and how much each would cost. I actually appreciate the explanation as I do not have much experience with plumbing. I also appreciate the fact that he was able to offer a few options to a job that was pretty expensive to begin with. Having a few options to consider was a helpful to stay within my budget. Straight up and honest estimate was appreciated. The secretary I spoke too over the phone was also extremely nice and helpful when I needed the invoice e-​mailed to me.
After contacting various plumbing companies they were the most reasonably priced, did a great job, and were able to do the job within a few days.
