Lansing Urgent Care

2^nd time in a week. If only the first time the PA would have spent longer then a min during the exam, I wouldn’t have had to come back. Lucky for me on my 2^nd visit I had the pleasure to be treated by a rude MA which left me wait in the room after calling me back for over 30 min. Total wait time 95 mins before and still haven’t been seen.

I had a possible eye infection and decided to come here instead of driving home 2 hours to my ophthalmologist. I was pleasantly surprised! Not only did I receive excellent care, the renovated facilities are very nice also. For families seeking medical treatment and health care services a pinch, this is a great resource for our area.

DON’T GO to the okemos branch they r so rude and unprofessional… nuff said.

I went in with a bad infection in my leg that I had let get to the point where my knee was starting to feel numb/​like the circulation was getting cut off, and it was extremely painful to walk. My regular dr’s office is always a few days wait for an appointment, and working a retail management schedule it’s not always easy to fit in anything before 5pm.
Urgent Care was great, it was the same co-​pay as my regular Dr but I was able to just walk in without an appointment. Not much paperwork to fill out even being my first time there, and everyone from reception to the Dr’s on staff were very friendly. The office is much cleaner than most regular Dr offices I’ve been to, and I was in a room quicker than most times I’ve had an appointment booked at other offices.
I ended up having some mini-​surgery on my leg to drain some of the infection. Not a very pleasant situation, but the nurse and Dr there (I can’t remember his name but it was an older man) were able to keep the mood light and my mind off the large numbing-​needle. I left much better off than I came in, and that’s all I can ask for in a Dr’s office.
I returned several times after for follow-​ups and the staff always made the visit as pleasant as a painful infection can get.

I wish this was my doctor’s office! The paperwork is minimal, the service is friendly, the décor is clean and classy, and the service is prompt and helpful. I’ve tried urgent cares in all the surrounding cities and this will be my go to now.
