Two Men and a Truck

Best decision I made when it came to moving! Two Men and Truck were able to help with my move at the last minute. They arrived on time and were very fast. Hammond and Decker both introduced themselves and were able to follow the specific instructions I had as far as what is fragile and where the items go once we arrived at the new place. They ran up and down the steps in between loads saving me lots of time (and money). They were funny, courteous, and very polite. The movers completed the job within the estimated time frame and I have no complaints. I would recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone considering hiring movers. It wasn’t as expensive as I expected and was well worth the money!

Our team was GREAT! They were quick, efficient and careful with all our belongings. Jordan Moore was so helpful and patient (our moving date and inventory list changed quite and few times) — he even called us on moving day to see if we wanted mattress bags for our bed. We will definitely use Two Men and a Truck for our next move. Thanks again!

Billy and Kevin were totally professional and did an outstanding job. This was not an easy move. It entailed moving some furniture from one place to another, then stop at a third place, then finally reach our destination. The team started around 10 AM and ended after 11 PM. Throughout the whole ordeal, both of them were extremely patient and never hesitated or lost their smile when we made small changes during the day. All in all, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck.

Expertly, carefully & lovingly moved my piano at a very reasonable & competitive price — couldn’t have wished for more even from movers specializing in piano! Appreciate Two Men & A Truck’s 2-​hour arrival windows (vs. others’ typical 4-​hr. or ½ day estimates), their courteous, knowledgeable staff -&- professional communications both when making the reservation and during the move.

I had Two Men & Truck move my items to their storage warehouse for a month and then to my new home. I had a few items broken. They did fix or replace most of them. But at this point I can’t trust them with my items. I’ve used other movers in the past and all of my items managed to make it to my new place unharmed. I also had a difficult time getting information pre-​move from the office as people would say they would call me and never would. Communication is a problem. I will say the two guys who brought my stuff to my new home were awesome. They were very polite and running to get loads. I was very impressed with them, but not enough to trust Two Men again.

Anyone moving from an apartment or condo knows about tight deadlines and non-​negotiable dates. Stay any longer and the property managers can charge extortionist fees on par with credit card companies for being a day late. I’d expect a moving company, especially one as large and successful as Two Men and a Truck, to make expediency and deadlines central to their business model.
The Lansing franchise must have so much business they can toss out efficiency altogether. When my good friend and her fiancé decided to move in together, they called up Two Men and a Truck well in advance of their moving date to schedule a move. No one answered or returned a message. After waiting a few days, they both tried again individually. Still no response. I put in a call to help them out and, thirteen days later, the office still has yet to return that call.
The phone number works, but the office is apparently empty or the staff so overworked they never respond to any technology other than semaphore signals or Morse code.
Who has time to fart around playing phone tag while trying to plan a move? Certainly not anyone with money on the line. The unprofessional customer service made it impossible to schedule a move, and suffice to say, none of us were very impressed. I made a recommendation for another Lansing-​area moving company. Two Men’s loss, and someone else’s gain.

I’m awful with names, so I can’t remember my movers — but they were awesome. It was a rushed move for me and I needed all the help I could get. They really helped me get moved quickly and efficiently, at a good value to boot.
I’d never move myself again, if Two Men and a Truck is available where I live I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

Best moving company I have ever worked with. I called them, they came and reviewed my home and even sent the boxes I ordered over. On moving day, their movers were SOOOO efficient. They were practically running from the truck to my apartment! My move from Michigan to Massachusetts was painless and I would recommend them to ANYONE. Absolutely professional. They even called me a week later to ask for feedback. Excellent customer service.

I decided at the last minute to hire movers rather than bother friends. I sent an email inquiry Friday night, Two Men called me Saturday morning and said they could move me that same day!
They wrapped my furniture with all of the contents in it, which made it really easy for me. The original quote was for 2 hours, but they got it done in 1, saving me $$.
Everyone was very professional and friendly, from the office staff to the movers.
I would definitely use them again!
