This new Walmart is horrible, I used to enjoy going there but avoid it at all possible now, staff is so rude and LAZY, you ask them to help you and they just give you a look. Several times my husband and I have gone in and the staff is just walking around and when you ask them a question, they don’t know or won’t take the time to look something up for you. I would rather travel several more miles than to ever go back to this store again

Worst Walmart store I’ve been to. The customer service attitude is really bad. Cashier lines are extra long. I won’t recommend this Walmart store to anyone. They really need to change and it needs to start with their store managers and low level employees.

If I could give this place ZEROSTARS I would. This Walmart is dirty, smelly and the shelves are always empty. The employees walk around doing nothing; looking like they just rolled out of bed. They are lazy, trifling and have no clue about anything in the store. I went there the other day looking for a salt & pepper shaker and the employee didn’t even know what I was talking about. They kept bringing me to the food aisle. I bought a couple of glasses and the cashier just put the glasses in a bag. She didn’t even bother to double wrap them! And these are the idiots that want $ 15 an hour? And last but not least most of the stuff you buy from this store will be broken. I bought a broom — the dust pan was cracked. I bought some Lysol — it wouldn’t spray. I bought a brush to clean the toilet bowl — as soon as I take it out of the bag the brush fell off the handle. I bought some Febreeze — the nozzle was broke and the can was cracked. Ugh! No more Walmart for me. I’d rather pay more money someplace else.

Horrible Store! Just left there and had to abandon my cart which had about $ 200 of items in it. Stood in line for 15 minutes before the woman in front of me needed a price check. 20 more minutes went by(checker couldn’t get anyone to help her). Finally had to get back to work & just left my cart full of my items — what a complete waste of time! Each time I have gone there, no one ever manages the cashiers or check-out areas. DON’T GOTOTHISWALMART — customer service at it’s absolute worst!

Staff is rude cashier lines extra long the cashiers take forever for each customer. Like its the first day however it’s that way for every line in each state have gone. It seems the staff just does not care or know what they’re doing. customer service return lines are all the way out the door when it’s below 0 degrees Fahrenheit! With only one person at a register and only two registers total there. This means if they want to staff the place to its full capacity you would still only have two registers open. But they don’t even have that they have one checkout lines usually are only 1 to 2 people. This is just not a great Walmart :-(

I’m a fan of Walmart, but not this location. Not as bad as the location in Evergreen Park, but it’s pretty close. Lines are always long because they often have only 3 lanes open. Shelves aren’t stocked and the store is always a mess.

This is one of the most messed up wall marts. It looks like they have no employees but the cashiers. I went to get a goldfish and no one was there. I had to walk all the way to the cashiers to ask them if they could send someone to help me. After 30 minutes someone passed by and I asked if they could help me and they said they would call someone. Then after another 30 minutes I went to find a manager and told her I had been eating for an hour for some help. She again said she would call someone. After another 25 minutes of wanting someone passed by and I asked him if he would help and finally he did. Another thing they have one or more dead fish in each tank. And every so often you would hear & assistance is needed here and assistance is neefef there but almost none would go. The merchandise id always a mess. I would think that a place like Walmart would want to give a good impression to it’s customers.

Terrible experience before the 1st step in the door. Parking lot littered with trash and shopping carts everywhere. Upon walking in, there was a gentleman who greeted me and I asked where the online order pickup was. He shook his head and said«Maaan, why donchu jus look at da sign.» The online pick up was in the completely opposite corner of the store compared to the entrance. It was in the back next to the bathrooms. I had to wait 15 – 20 minutes to actually start processing my order. The woman said they didn’t have what I ordered in stock and I should have known that even though they never cancelled my order that was scheduled for pick up that day. Terrible customer service. Terrible experience. Avoid this store at all costs.

I am not a fan of Walmart, for many reasons. However, I got stuck at this one because a well-meaning friend offered to take me shopping, without asking where I wanted to go. He just assumed that I would be happy to shop at Walmart, since he knows I like discounts. Of course, this surprises me because I have always told him about how I prefer thrift stores to these types of discount superstores. Target is not nearly as offensive to me, given that they actually treat their employees well, provide health care, etc. I’m just of the belief that any corporation which is known to mistreat employees should not be supported. There are degrees of this and it makes it a challenge at times to shop, however, I always feel better when I take the time to shop responsibly. All of that being said, this store was one of the most unpleasant shopping experiences I’ve ever had. I truly wanted to leave, but decided that I should get a few items I needed after moving here, so that the entire shopping day was not a waste. The truth is that I’d take any thrift store, from Salvation Army to Village Discount and Walgreens or CVS over a store like this any day. I may not save the most money, but I’ll feel better about my purchases, which at this time in my life, means a lot to me.

I couldn’t agree more with the first two people about Lansing WalMart, but my newest complaint is about the pharmacy. One time, they gave me a time to pick up a prescription and when I got there to pick it up, they didn’t know what I was talking about! Just last week, I dropped off a prescription for my husband that they said would be ready at 3 and I got there at 3:20 and it wasn’t. I went back the next day. It still wasn’t ready. They blamed me(the customer!!!) for leaving the day before and gave my prescription papers back to me which I took to Walgreens and they were ready in an hour. :)
