Costco Wholesale

I’ve been going to this costco for almost three years and the staff is always helpful. Just on one occasion I grabbed a sample and the lady had no napkins and accidentally i dropped a crumb and she went buzzerk and started to cuss.
I never had that happen again nor did i ever see her again. The food court is nice and indoors they usually always have issues with their machine so cash is best.

Thank you, Costco Tire Center in Lantana. I unexpectedly had to purchase 4 new tires after having a tire problem. Alex, the manager, was honest, Knowledgeable & professional and the other technicians were very helpful through my many questions. Did I mention I had many questions? They understood the constraints I have at present and were able to help me make an educated decision on the best affordable tires for my car. They ordered my tires and within 36 hours they were delivered. The auto text message alerted me that the tires that came in and offered me a convenient appointment time. I arrived on time and my tires were installed within the hour while I shopped. I made sure to carefully read the warranty and Alex had also fully explained it. This is a very busy center but they still offer limited appointments and also have walk-​in first come, first served service. *Non-​members can have flats repaired here if needed.

The Yonkers NY Costco is better. We wish they didn’t discontinue the high end crab meat, the book section went downhill, the orchids are so so in price and quality, the stationary gift cards slid down, the samples are is still good but not the way it used to be. Wines are excellent.

This Costco is so ugly that you might want to start telling yo momma so ugly jokes…
But seriously, this Costco gets the job done. Certain things are much discounted compared to other bulk buying stores. I like the convenience of getting in here buying multiple things and just going home.
Things I buy on the regular:
~Contact lenses, best price compared to other places unless you have eye insurance and it’s cheaper with your doctor.
~Fresh produce: always good, I specially like fresh pomegranates but hate cutting them…
~ When family coming in town I always stock up on towels and other housewares goods.
~Car gasoline prices always stay competitive.
~ Flowers: many kinds, the banquets are always amazing and so worth checking out. They don’t always have orchids but when they do I expect some from Sam M.
~ Cakes and bakery goods, very convenient taking to parties/​family gatherings, the portions are always accommodating to serving many people.
So no more yo momma jokes, just go shop at this Costco if you live around area, and get your savings.~

Love Costco. But I think it’s wrong to be closed at 6 on a Saturday for me it seems I always need to do my shopping on a Saturday night. If they were open until 8 I would be much happier.

Pharmacist Larry Pham not only gave me a pain-​free Flu shot in a matter of seconds, he took an interest in me. We talked briefly about Android cell phones. Gave me a valuable tip too. I found Larry to be professional. caring, engaging with great sense of humor. What a nifty experience to shop and get my flu for 2015 – 16 on the same visit. Cashiers both are first rate with no hassle lest I forget to mention them.

I made a special trip here today to get the AzumaGourmet seaweed salad. I love this seaweed salad, it tastes just like the kind you get at a Japanese restaurant. Costco has not carried it in a while and when I was there last week I asked for the name of the company that made it and gave them a call. I was so excited that they told me the product would be back on the shelves once again this week. Much to my chagrin the package was half the size of the old one and the price wasn’t any lower. It may have even been a little higher, but it has been so long since they carried it I’m not really sure.
I understand that maybe most people don’t need that much seaweed salad and maybe that is why the reduced the package size, but isn’t that the case with most of the things you buy at Costco?
Now for the brighter side of my visit. It was lunch time and I got my daughter pizza and a soda. The total was $ 2.74 and the portion was very generous. I only saw 2 sample stations today, which was good because if I get a sample I usually end up purchasing the product. If you go on the weekend there are many more samples to be had.
Lunch time on a week day must be a good time to come. I got a good parking spot and there was no wait in the check out line. I like this Costco, it is usually pretty clean and they have a nice selection of premade items in the deli/​meat and bakery departments, and you can’t beat the $ 4.99 rotisserie chicken. If I get the chicken I can add rice and a veg and feed my family of 5 for about $ 10. Kirkland, Costco’s own brand offers a lot of good products as well. I buy the hotdogs and freeze them. The hotdogs are the same ones they sell in their café and are really tasty.

I have been a customer of this store for almost 24 years and have never had any problems there. The Manager whose name is Chad is very good at helping customers.

There’s not enough good I can say about Cosco. From the prices on fuel to the selection of organic groceries Costco is top notch. I shop here three or four days a week mostly for organic produce and hormone free chicken. In the frozen section you can find amazing deals on organic broccoli and organic mixed vegetables which I buy weekly. They’re organic hummus and organic baby carrots are an amazing deal and cannot be touched anywhere else. If you were into a healthy lifestyle like myself and my family and eat organic produce and hormone free protein there is nowhere better to shop. The fact that they have the cheapest gas prices anywhere is just icing on the cake. Buying a membership to Cosco pays for itself by February or March on fuel savings alone. I almost forgot the organic extra virgin coconut oil and 54 ounce containers for $ 16.99 is amazing and is about half the cost of organic coconut oil anywhere else. Their price on diapers and baby wipes is also top-​notch. Like I started out with I don’t have enough good things to say about Cosco and I really enjoy shopping here.

Costco is also a provider of prepared food-​so it is a restaurant. This is a critique of their «Asian Rotisserie Chicken wraps». The chicken has the texture of over brined meat mush. They also pack these wraps with those «fried asian noodles» that you get with every Chinese meal-​but throw away because they’re not edible (and these noodles have turned to mush in the sandwich).

I frequent the new one in royal palm beach but I just happen to be in the area and needed something. This place is def much older compared to the other ones. Parking is terrible, but that’s every Costco. I had to get a temporary card since I left my card at home. They’re customer service people were very helpful although a little slow. I wouldn’t mind coming to this location again if I’m near by.

Costco is as always the place to go at least once a month. I bought a 70 inch sharp led TV for $ 1500 when the best buys of the world were selling it for $ 2000.
This Costco location is one of the older ones compared to the sample road store and is smaller in scale compared to other costcos. But as always Costco is full of stuff that you will always want. Plus this location sells gas so you can fill up for cheaper prices compared to regular gas stations.
Recently Costco has been in the news as next year they are going to switch from Amex to citi cards so don’t apply for an Amex Costco card as you will have to re-​apply next year for a citi visa.

My girlfriend is sick, asked me to go to costco with her card., they let me in… Let me shop for an hour then when it’s time to check out… They say sorry you are not allowed to shop here… There is no sign ANYWHERE when you enter… What a terrible company to turn down business., she is now canceling her card and I am telling everyone I know to STOP shopping at this company. The cashier shows me the card says non transferable. I take that as you can’t transfer the account. There needs to be a sign telling you at the door or the 8.00 an hour employee needs to look at everyone’s card so people don’t waste time. I feel costco owes me! Never again

How do you review a warehouse store? That question nags me every time Unilocal recommends I review Costco. So, let’s give it a shot!
For this and most locations I highly recommend parking away from the main entrance if the weather allows. The gridlock that occurs as people try to jockey for the closest spot to the front is laughable since that gridlock will be there when you try to LEAVE your spot. I always opt to park on the west side of the parking lot and walk it in, much easier entry and exit in my opinion.
Navigating the store. Strap on a helmet and just GO! It’s a warehouse store, like Disney, everyone forgets their manners at the door. You will be bumped by people and their carts. You will possibly get taken out by someone coming out of an aisle too fast. You will get annoyed at the salmon going against the flow. The patrons that just stop mid walk will drive you batsh*t crazy. But it’s a warehouse store, this should be expected.
Costco, this location included, does carry some USDA Prime beef from time-​to-​time and is worthy every damn penny if you’re a carnivorous animal like myself. You can identify it quickly because it is packed in the blue styrofoam trays as opposed to the white trays for the choice meat. If you like ribeye and strip cuts, buy this.
WIne selection is always good. Costco sells more wine than anyone else. If you know your prices and what you are looking for and they have it you are almost sure to get a good deal. Don’t be afraid to try their Kirkland brand wines, there are some great values there. We find the Kirkland Chardonnay to be quite enjoyable. Just pour it in a decanter if you like it but are afraid your friends and family will judge you.
Checkout is like herding cats. Be patient and look for the small line if you can. Even better, try the self checkout lanes. For some reason people seem to be hesitant to use theses. Do they not know how to scan a barcode?
Look, it’s Costco. They treat their employees well which in turn leads to good/​great customer service. Their warranty service and after purchase customer service is excellent. Almost all purchases return significant value.
I enjoy Costco, their deals and the madness that comes with visiting one on a busy weekend!

Big warehouse in south florida. I found nice mattresses.

Cheaper gas than most places, plus a big parking lot. Access in from East is easy, but going out if you want I-​95 is another story. You can only go right out of the main lot. If traffic is light you can shoot across and make a U-​Turn at the light. Otherwise make a right at the light and make a U-​Turn come back to the light make a left to get back t I-​95. Store is busy, but doesn’t get as many of the retired folks like the Boca Costco. You can use American Express, Debit, cash, check and Costco cash card as forms of payment. Costco does charge a membership fee and you have to watch your prices, most items are a good buy, but some things can be more as there are no loss leaders like at Walmart or Publix to get you there. Prices have been moving up some over the last few years and considering you pay for the membership it’s not as cheap as when they first opened. TVs and computers with and extra year of warranty are good deals. Jewelry seems to be priced good also.

If you are big on saving like I am, you will save some here. You have to know your prices to see if you really are getting a deal. There are some things like paper towels and toilet paper that I refuse to buy here because it’s the same price at a grocery store. The packaged meats and foods may be a hit or miss depending on what they are. The bakery runs super cheap prices on cakes and pastries. The disadvantage of shopping here is paying a membership fee to keep the prices down. It should be on everything, not on certain items. I don’t mean to rave because I like wholesale clubs. The point is that if they are going to charge a membership fee, lower the cost on everything. I kind of feel cheated out of it since I got an eye on prices all the time. The parking and the crowd can be a nightmare, so be patient if you attend here on a weekend. It can be a longer than expected wait time.
