Loyal customer since the Summer of 2012 when the wife & I found the place. Good quality produce at reasonable prices and the best tomatoes we have found. We highly recommend it.

I’ve been a customer, since 1997. Fresh produce, at good prices. Always open, 7:30AM — 7:30PM, seven days, a week. Check for new, seasonal arrivals and specials, by Maria’s and other local merchants, by downloading the free Ubiz app.

I love this store because of the balance between quality and good prices. I am a big fan of these types of stores in general compared to the higher cost grocery chains. The quality is always reliable because the local stuff is delivered right to the store and doesn’t have to go into a multi day distribution system like the big grocers do. The grapefruit here are consistently the best around(during FL growing season) and are sometimes 3 – 4 for $ 1 depending on the time of year. There are also types of vegetables here for use in Indian and Chinese cooking that I can’t find elsewhere.

This place has got many variety of vegetables and most of them are fresh compared to other markets nearby. I saw fresh Indian vegetables too. This is now my go to places for buying fresh veggies.

Sub par fruit and veggies. Brought produce home and was terrible. Don’t waste time or $. No debit or credit, cash only.

I had been a loyal customer at Maria’s since they were located on Military Trail until yesterday. I went there because they advertised produce via a large sign out front but when I went inside, the price was 10 cents a pound higher. When I mentioned it to one clerk, he went outside and turned the sign around and refused to honor the advertised price. When I went to the other gentleman checking people out, he said I would have to pay the higher price. I asked for Maria and he said she was not there and he would not contact her. I went to Maria’s at least once a week for years, but I’ll go to Rorabecks or Bednars or Western Beef in the future. I also now regret recommending them to friends and even strangers while at full priced grocery stores.

Excellent selection with a wide variety of ethnic fruits and vegetables. The prices are great and the place is clean and the produce well cared for and kept in climate controlled environments. So great to be able to afford to eat the daily recommended amounts of fruits and vegetables without breaking the bank.

Don’t know why this wasn’t here when so many of my colleagues and friends have been talking about Maria’s Market like it an absolute no-brainer when it comes to fresh produce. Its a farmer’s market owned by a family and located in a large space of land on Hyperluxo. The open land/parking space is almost twice as large as the store itself. They have fresh produce that is cheap and fast-moving which is again a good sign for perishable foods. Apart from basic grocery they carry various Caribbean and Indian grocery items such as Thyme, all spice, Paneer etc. As you enter, there are all kinds of seasonal fruits and some veggies in the room. On either side of the main room are two other rooms that have the greens and other veggies and the other side has onions, potatoes etc. The placement is not like we see in other Farmer’s market its little here and there but all very well kept and quite clean. The folks working there are nice and friendly. They sell lot of produce in whole sale to several restaurants and food departments of organizations. They are in the process of coming up with organic produce very soon. With the advent of farmer’s markets in Boca and near by areas, a trip to Maria’s is not going to be very frequent. But, If in that area, I would definitely check it out. I’am all for local fresh produce.
