Shamrock Farms

We SO enjoyed our stay last weekend. Farms have a sentimental value to me. Few people know about the joy they give me, and the relaxation I feel when I have the opportunity to stay on one. This B&B far surpassed my expectations and I was so happy my husband surprised me with this stay for my birthday.
The animals were so adorable (Sally tried to kiss my hubby!), the house had such a beautiful antique feel, and the bedroom was cozy and comfy. Even the bathroom was luxurious in its own way — but the best part was the breakfast.
Maureen clearly has amazing skills in the kitchen. Even though the food itself was simple, the flavors were well balanced and perfectly seasoned. She is also very tentative and when our car failed us, she loaned us her truck so my birthday dinner want ruined. How many B&B owners would do that for complete strangers? That’s God at work people. It brought a tear to my eye.
All in all, this was a great birthday weekend and we WILL be coming back!

My two kids and I recently stayed at this bed and breakfast. It was the first time we had stayed at a bed and breakfast. Really nice place.
Meticulously decorated in country antique. Beautiful rolling hills with horse farm in the country. Just the right distance from the city for an overnight. I plan to stay at bed and breakfasts from now on. What a memorable experience.
