Mardi Gras is easily one the top 3 places to grab a beer in Lapel.
Seriously, Mardi Gras kind of has a monopoly on the bar/​pizza joint market in Lapel. It seems to attract a younger crowd than Woody’s. I’ve been there 5 or 6 times and its always pretty fun. There’s obviously a bunch of regulars and people who have set up shop there. If you know people in Lapel or you roll in with a crew you should have a good time.
The drinks aren’t particularly cheap for being in the middle of nowhere but they are reasonable. I had one of the pizzas there and it wasn’t bad at all
If you have a group and they want to grab a drink in Lapel at night, your options are pretty limited and Mardi Gras is probably your best bet.
