Have you ever been to a brightly painted ice cream shop where you can look in a giant freezer and pick from about 30 flavors of brightly colored ice cream? Can you envision them giving you free samples of as many flavors as you like? Can you picture being served by a teenager who skillfully hides their cell phone when they see you walk in? If you can answer yes to these questions, then you have probably already been to Kaliedoscoops, you just didn’t know it. There is nothing spectacular or mind mind bogglingly unique about this place. The ice-cream is fresh, the service is friendly and efficient and the shop is clean and small, with three or four tables with chairs to eat your scoops of creamy sugar goodness before you stagger to your vehicle with a massive sugar rush. It is next door to a movie theater, and shares an internal door so when someone opens the it, the smell of popcorn swishes in and somehow creates a happy mood. If you have some time to kill after you enjoy your scoops, you can hang out in the theater game room and play air hockey, or pacman. Maybe you will even feel like a kid again.
