Unusual combos of burgers, very interesting menu! Good selection of beers and nice patio. Great location off the highway in their funky downtown near bookstores and shops, attentive staff. Could use a good cleaning in some areas though

Was very surprised to find this place and then to find that the food was so fantastic. Very unique menu, good service and decent atmosphere. I was also very happy to find gluten-free options.

Love this place! I usually get wings(which are perfect) & the cocktails come in cute mason jars. Everyone is friendly & it’s the only place where you can eat outside in the sunshine!

Grandma use to say that too me all the time«were you born in A barn»? Kids leave the door open granny lighten up. This place has food items that are very farm like and hearty sort of what I feel I’d cowboy food. The burgers are all spectacular and man those French fries were among the best anywhere. The place is fun and a cool joint for a casual lunch or dinner with the gang. The bartender was a good guy and very attentive. Keeping the glass full and helping with making a selection because the menu is full of enticing choices. You can’t go wrong here so what are ya waiting for!

Very cool and tasty burgers. They have those odd ones like with peanut butter and ones that’s deep fried. Soooooo good!

I think you could get away with a lot of shenanigans here, but that doesn’t change the fact that there is only one restroom with an iffy lock. If you’re there during a weekend night and take more than 30 seconds, expect a line of disapproving looks when you come out.

Nice atmosphere and good food. Good variety in the ingredient options. Only mark against is that the service seemed a bit hurried. Was charged for a sauce even though the waitress did not indicate that extras would be charged. Good beer deals, but nothing on tap.

Actually was able to get in a week later. This was the day of the Jubilee Days Parade and they were kind of busy. The french fries were to die for; just like mom made. Burger was big and tasty. Service was kind of slow. We ate out on the patio and there was a table with a small boy. He was very rambunctious and misbehaved which took away from our experience. Also, the walk in cooler was outside on the patio. There was quite a lot of traffic to and from the kitchen. The door to the walk in was filthy. Just try not to think about that dirt getting on your food. Anyway, the food was great and if I’m back in Laramie, I will try and go again.

Best burgers and wings in town! It’s a little small is if it’s not nice enough for them to use the patio. Friendly people great little corner bar!

Good food, drinks, service and music on the patio. The reason this review is not higher is due to the dirtiness of the patio and restroom. Clean the place up!

We saw a review in another site and came to check it out. Awesome burger menu! We ordered the simple ½ pounder and fries. It was great! Did not disappoint in any way. For the more adventurous they have an entire page of options! How about a bratwurst on your burger? Enjoy!

I have been here a few times and had really liked it but my last two visits were very disappointing. They changed their fries to the same thing that everyone else has. Beer list never changes and they are frequently out of some. The last visit our service was terrible. Watch out for the $.60 wings on Monday, only a couple types actually qualify. PB&J wings just taste like peanut butter and is supposedly pre-mixed so you can’t ask for more jelly. As the other review stated, check your bill closely. We have had mistakes. Burgers used to be delicious but the last two were unremarkable. Sweet potato fries are very good. I hope they get back on track.

Food was great, service was great BUT check your bill. Their new Point of Sale system has a problem with addition. The subtotal for two people was off by $ 1.50(3+3+8+10.5 = 26???) and the manager seemed unconcerned when we pointed it out. It’s hard to believe a system that gets two drinks and two meals wrong in its total is entirely an accident. Caveat Emptor.

It was fine. I’d goback when in the mood for greasy fried food or a good burger. Not the best burger in town, but probably third best.

It was a college crowd at the bar when we were there including four off-duty employees who occupied most of the bartender’s time. Drinks were good, but service could be improved. The employees came across as unprofessional in their duties as well as their interactions with their friends/off duty employees at the bar.

Good food all around. Burgers are tasty, fries are good. Staff friendly. Always full of people. Watch out for floor towards back very slippery, seen several people almost fall. Place is very small so expect a long wait.

Driving across the US(Pacific to Atlantic Coast). Stopped at this place from recommendations from two staff @America Inn. Burgers are the best you can get at any top Notch eatery! Great variety of options available. I had the Juicy Lucy cooked perfectly! Chicken Wings perfectly flavored and crunchy(a combination of texture and taste often not found from many wing establishments). Our server Julia showed promising customer service skills. She checked on our table with keen awareness and attention. Smiled, polite, interactive; all the qualities anyone would wish from a server. Kudos Julia! You are much of the reason many will keep coming back! That and the great food make this place an easy 5 star plus!

We had wings and chili cheese fries. Not a heart friendly meal for sure. chili cheese fries were good, the chili was very rich and flavorful, almost to much so. The wings were cooked perfectly, it was the sauce the key them down really. We got Jamaican jerk and spicy garlic. The jerk was a rub… Should have known better, just not much flavor… The spicy garlic was okay, but it just didn’t taste like much. It was a lot of food and I was over full when we left but if I was back in Laramie I would try some place else. Gabe had a ¼ lb kids burger with fries. Looked like an adult meal. He said it was really good.

Went here today for the first time since moving here in August. A solid place. Colleague and I split the fries(shoestring kind with good sauce) and fried pickles(prepared as spears with a good balance of seasoning and coating — I usually don’t like fried pickles). Had a burger/wings combo. It’s a $ 1.00 upcharge for bone-out wings so actually $ 15.00 for the burger, four boneless wings, and a side. At first I was disappointed only four wings came in the combo, but it’s a good amount when you figure in the hamburger and a side(would get fries if just myself with no appetizer, had mac & cheese today and it was good — the light, paler kind of mac and cheese not hardened with dried cheese that I hate). Drinks come in small mason jars and our server always kept them filled without us even asking. The burger was good. Not one of those large burgers that skimps on taste with its size. I can see why people on here complain if you’re expected a whopper sized burger. But when you take into consideration the ingredients on these burgers, it’s much much better than some chain restaurant«mother burger» or whatever(FWIW, I had the Levi burger: bacon, smoked gouda, jalapaneos, green chilis, and maple bacon BBQ). The décor is fun — if antique road signs and TV screens aren’t your thing, sorry — it’s about as postmodern as Laramie gets. The wings I have to say are great — apparently a BWW is being built, which I hope won’t hurt Born in a Barn because the boneless wings here were great, a bit smaller than the kind you get at Applebees or BWW, but better sauces and they didn’t taste microwaved. Going to reheat my leftovers now. PS — it’s the only place I’ve found in town that does a fried chicken dinner. Other places do chicken tenders, or chicken fried steak, and 17th St does a chicken & waffle, but it baffles me no place here does fried chicken. is that only a midwest/southern thing? Is poultry that hard to come by out here in the west? Let me know if I’m wrong about this in Laramie.

A Great Improvement: When this place first opened, quality and consistency was questionable and often lacking. This does not seem to be the case any more. I have been attending the restaurant and bar more and more often, starting with the requests from friends and leading into a destination to which I enjoy going. The Wings: In my opinion, the wings are excellent. Expensive for wings? Absolutely. A step up from any other in the the area? Without question. In fact, I would go so far as to say that their wings are some of the best and more creative I’ve had anywhere, let alone just in Laramie. Back when BiaB first opened, I would not pay for their wings, they were not good enough to warrant the price. Nowadays I have changed my mind. They seem to have really gotten everything down a bit better and I very much enjoy, nay, LOVE most of the wings on their menu. While I normally opt for a burger when I am particularly hungry(because you end up getting more food for your money), if I am in a wing mood, there is no other place I to which I wish to go. The Burgers: As I said previously, if you are quite hungry, the burgers are the way to if you wish not to spend much. For around $ 8 you get a large burger with a basket-full of hand cut fries(I normally go for the sweet potato variety). I have never finished a burger and fries at this establishment feeling ripped off or hungering for more.(And that’s saying something, I have quite the capacity). As a side-note, they often come out with seasonal or monthly specials, OCtober’s was a «Zombie Burger» that came with fried macaroni and cheese on it and I couldn’t actually finish it! This month they have«The Popper» which comes with cream cheese, pepper jelly, and fried jalapeños, and it is absolutely fantastic. The Service: I have yet to have service issue since the opening month or two of this joint. I will admit that in the beginning it was a bit rough, the staff rarely knew what beers were available and the consistency of service was. lacking at the least. This is no longer the case, as with the food quality, service has vastly improved and is perfectly enjoyable at every visit. The Bar(For Those Interested): The bar hosts a few scotches, every variety of vodka in which one might wish to indulge and a sizable selection of whiskies. It still pains me a hair that they lack draft beers, but regardless, their happy hour still hosts $ 2.00 domestics and $ 1.50-$ 2.00 well drinks(with which I am perfectly content). The bartenders here might not know off hand how to make they fanciest cocktails, there are better places for that in this town. If bottled beer and a fun atmosphere(normally full of collegiates) without the hype of some of the larger bars in town, this is a nice place to spend some time. Overall: All-in-all, as I said, this establishment has improved tremendously since its conception. If I were writing this review then it would receive not 5 stars but 2 or perhaps 3. This is the change that has occurred here. Keep in mind that this is a joint for bar food, burgers and wings, yet with a twist. You will spend a bit more on wings than you might want to, but in my experience it is always worth it. The burgers are a fine choice for the person who’d rather spend $ 8 on their meal and be quite full! I have yet to be disappointed in the last year or so here, and will continue to go likely once a week for dinner!
