Horrible service! I have both eaten there & ordered to go. The wait is insanely long & the taste is blah! The dine in experience was the worst. Only me and another table there. The waiter was so slow in refills and food took a long time. They did not honor coupon I had. Sushi madre is way better and mins away.

I love going to Doki Doki! My favorite roll is the Alfredo! The wait staff is always pleasant and very attentive. The restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere! I’ve lived in Laredo for 2 years. I was disappointed in the sushi in town until I discovered Doki Doki. They have the best sushi in Laredo. I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, Doki Doki was pretty sucky sucky overall. The restaurant was nice, however, it was completely empty. We were the only ones to enter the restaurant the entire time we were there. We started with the miso soup, which unfortunately was missing seaweed! Also, one of the chunks of tofu was cold on the inside. The next item we tried was the cucumber salad with crab. No complaint here — it was good. Next came edamame. It was ok, but slightly soggy and slightly undersalted. Finally, the entrèe. A rainbow roll and a bentoish plate with a California roll, 2 pieces of nigiri, fried rice, and fried dumplings. I blame myself for not reading the description properly, but holy crap that was alot of carbs on one plate! Unfortunately, the salmon didn’t taste the freshest and I actually spit out a piece of the tuna; immediately ending my meal. In conclusion, half a star for service. Our waiter was very attentive. And half a star for effort. At least Doki Doki tried to place a nice Japanese oasis in the culinary desert of Laredo.

Great food and service. Best breaded sushi roll I’ve tried.
