I asked for a short stack. Server«three?» Me: «a short stack» Server: «*eyeroll* So three.» Me: «oh ok.» They charged me for a 4-stack and said«well sir we only have 2 or 4 and you wanted 3» They kept walking by while I tried to get a drink refill. I asked for a BLT that never came out and the girl just dumped a receipt on the table and walked away. I try to empathize with servers but they werent even busy. Pancake were tasty, but awful service.

Can I leave zero stars ? My God, I waited 1 hr for an order of eggs and sausage links with hash browns. Half the restaurant was empty, come on. When the manager came she said, «What do you want me to do» and never, ever apologize. Will never go back to that place in my life, never again. Not this one, not any IHOP at all. To think that I convince all family to go after the local newspaper reported they had found cockroaches in the kitchen. My bad.

Service was nonexistent. We waited for half an hour for our food and eventually walked out when we hadn’t seen our waitress since we sat down and ordered.

You are hungry for breakfast, your kids are starving, you go to IHOP and all your problems are solve… oh wait, that’s if you have two freaking hours to spare while you wait for your food. That’s right, two hours!!! We didn’t leave because of the service. The poor server was so embarrassed and we felt so bad for him that we stayed. But Lord have Mercy… 2 hours!!! REALLY!!!

You would think that this would be a one star review since the server completely messed up my order but the service was great!(Which is difficult to find in Laredo) When I let the server know that one part of my meal was wrong he quickly fixed it and let the manager know. Then I noticed the second part of my meal was wrong also. The server apologized and quickly took it back to the kitchen. The manager ended up bringing out my correct order and apologized. The way the server and manager handled this mess up really impressed me and saved our experience. Not to mention the manager discounted our bill to make up for the mistakes. We will definitely return on our next visit to Laredo.
